Seoul Searching, was really great as well! Had all the charm of a John Hughes film with a great cast. A much needed film in the library of Asian-American centric films.

Pretty theater design but parking in the area always costs money unless you can find street parking a few blocks away for free. When this theater was new, it wasnt expensive, now their Tuesday deal has raised up to $9 but what's unique is their 4dx screenings chairs. Which rumbles, shakes, vibrates, with wind, water and all kinds of cool effects while you watch the movies.

Pro: The cinema was clean. There was plenty of parking in a garage. The movie theater was pretty big. Since the theater is in the heart of downtown, there are a lit if restaurants near by.

Con: You will have to wait to pay for parking. The parking can be a mess if there are any events in DTLA. The theater was on the warmer side. They can turn down the temperature more.

I watched STAR WARS: The Force Awakens at this Regal. It's great but charging a lot for parking like any other place in Downtown Los Angeles is just not acceptable.

First, let me note that it's nice to have a high-quality, mainstream cinema serving the DTLA area. The venue features both a "Premiere Cinema" complete with balcony seating and a private concession stand as well as a separate "4D" auditorium. In addition to standard popcorn and candy, this Regal also offers more substantial food offerings including burgers, pizza, and chicken strips. That said, I find this complex to be lacking in ... personality. Considering the price of movies these days, I prefer to spend my entertainment dollar at "destination" theatres like the Chinese Theatre, the ArcLight Cinerama Dome, or even a dine-in cinema. Still, you could do worse when catching a flick in the Downtown area.

I attended the rep carpet screening of the movie "Seoul Searching" which was an amazing John Hughes 80s inspired dramedy. It was apart of the LA Film Fest programming so there was alot of buzz and excitement in the air. The movie itself was one of the best films with an all asian cast I've ever seen.

Now on to the venue itself. The theatre was enormous with a large balcony which I got to enjoy the movie from. The sound was fantastic and the seating was comfortable as well. I'm glad I finally got to check this theater out!

Parking can be tricky here but you should call ahead of time to see what validation special they have going on or what recommended lots they can point you towards.

I like this place because of the L.A. Film Festival. It's also a place where I watch free screenings, on occasion.

Walk around the area and grab a bite before or after showtime. It's very close to many restaurants and popular spots. Nice to hang out there with your friends or loved one.

I didn't find anything very special about this theater except that it's big, clean and next to several food options (which are on the pricier side).

Nice theater with spacious leg room and chairs that recline AND arms go up/down. Luxurious and by so many eateries at LA Live. Can't wait for LA Film Festival 2013 here!

One of the biggest theater complexes in the LA area. There are three floors, but only two of them actually have theaters. I was working here for the LA film festival and the larger screens are actually located on the bottom floors, while the smaller screens are up above on the third floor. The mezzanine floor seems like it's just a lounge area. Still it's close to the LA Live complex and the metro station for convenience.
