The Broad is a beautiful museum with the most stellar art pieces and contemporary exhibits. Huge artists are shown here and it’s all FREE! The architecture, art work, and everything is so impressive. I’ve been here 5 times and can’t wait to go back :$

One of the best contemporary art museum that you could find in the US. It reminds of the Saatchi Gallery in London. The Broad gives free admission, which you could reserve tickets online in advance or just wait in the line to get in. It is still having the Yayoi Kusama's infinite room show. It is amazing!!! High Recommended to go and see. Even the broad Museum itself is an art piece.

A stunning building that looks a giant chunk of cheese landed from outer space. Strong line-ups here, Yayoi Kusama etc. Book ahead for big shows.

What a great museum! It is relatively small with 2 floors, but there is a lot to see! I love that they rotate some of the smaller displays out and change things up from time to time. They have their own parking garage, but you can get 3 hours validated but it will still cost $12.

Beautifully designed building by Diller Scofidio + Renfro. It features great modern art. The museum itself is free, you just need to pay for parking.

A great new modern museum in Downtown LA. The museum is free, but expect to wait in very long lines or get your ticket months in advance.

By far my favorite museum in LA. The curation is on point (given that LA curation isn't the greatest). I know the hipsters like to go to the mirror room for a second but that's a waste. See the rest of the museum what with its great collections by Barbara Kruger, Cindy Sherman, Jeff Koons, Robert Rauchsenberg and others likes of that genre. Beautiful establishment and head to Otium next door for cocktails and exquisite food after.

Pretty neat museum. There's a high demand for the tickets (They're free!) but you will have to reserve in advance online. In order to get into the infinity room, you will need to be inside early as it's a separate registration, and they tend to sell out. Sadly, I was unable to see the infinity room this time, but hopefully next time I will be able to see it.

We spent perhaps close to 2 hours here--an hour on each floor. There's a lot to see if you enjoy art, and the over-sized furniture is definitely the main attraction here.

I recommend just taking a lyft or uber here as parking is $12 bucks.

Great for a first stop (ok, second stop after spam musubi) to get some culture. Love that it's free, the staff is very helpful and friendly, and there is a lot of modern art to see even if you don't go to the special exhibit. I made the mistake of purchasing food from outside vendors before getting in the Broad line, but as luck would have it they "bag check" food. Outside the museum, the birds will be more than willing to help you with any of your musubi scraps.

Underwhelmed overall with the art. Wonderful that admission is free and the appointments keep the crowds in check inside the museum. Bathroom facilities are poor.

Awesome and free. 2 ways to enter, either do general admission which brings a certain amount of people in at a time or reserving tickets Online beforehand. These tickets are out quick so you might need to look way in advance. Lots of exhibits from many popular artist on 2 floors. Infinity room is the main attraction which you have to wait to get which can go up to 4 hours. If you wanna see that get early admission as possible.

This Diller + Scofidio museum is beautifully designed, it is a work of art on its own. The museum is free, expect long lines, some tickets are available online but are usually sold out. However the wait is worth it!!!

Great place to spend a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Free tickets need to be booked online in advance. The day of, there's a line for stand-by if you want to take your chances. Exhibits change every so often, 3 floors of different things to see.

Cool, modern museum in DTLA.

Try to make reservations in advanced if possible. There are many cool exhibits within the museum, including the Infinity Room. For that room in particular, you have to sign up for it once you enter the museum - don't forget to do this! Also check out the restaurant right beside it, Otium, for delicious tapas style plates.
