HOME of the Famous Kentucky Derby horserace that happens annually the first weekend of May. It is a STAPLE in Kentucky culture and history, the place to see and be seen, or be scene.

Another one of Louisville's cultural icons, this is a must-see for anyone visiting the city. Even if you aren't here to see a race, the trip out here to visit the grounds if worth it.

Home of the Kentucky Derby, but many people come in town for Thursday, Friday and Saturday of the Derby. Experience local culture, parties, events that make up the derby. Museum can be toured year round as well.

This place was so much fun! Ended up there as part of a conference with a large group, but it wouldn't matter who you went with. Horse racing's history is intertwined with American history. This made it such an interesting visit even when the horses weren't running!
