There are so many UNESCO World Heritage sites in just this small area. I loved all the Portuguese architecture on the buildings, and there are so many things happening all the time in this crowded square.

You really feel like you're in Portugal here! Complete with a fountain, Senado Square is very photogenic and one of the busiest areas in Macau. The site has been awarded UNESCO Heritage Site status. Flea markets, festivals and performances have been hosted here, and you should look out for flea markets around the square - check online or with your hotel, they are unofficial. The square leads up to the Ruins of St Paul, another Macau landmark.

The historic center of Macau, you can take the bus here from the ferry terminal. It feels a little European and so much to see around the square.

Along the street are various type of shops, especially biscuits, fashion house are the most. Very crowded and tourists from all over the world. On Sunday, many maids rest and will gather around here.

Largo do Senado (Senate Square) is one of Macau's main public squares. Everything along the square, including the buildings are brightly colored. Plus, Largo de Senado has a clean walkway with a lovely fountain nearby the street. It's great for taking a casual stroll around the area.

This is pretty much the area to pick up souvenirs from Macau. This is where you get those infamous beef jerky, egg rolls, or peanut candy. The buildings alone are nice to look at. You would enjoy the stroll around the square.

Leal Senado is the very center of the old town square. I've been there twice, and both times people were packed in like sardines in a sardine can.

many things to shop around here and also can get to discovering the St. Paul's church and the remains of the greatest of Macau's churches is its magnificent stone facade and grand staircase.

The original city center and civic center of Macau. This central plaza provides visitors a glimpse of Macau during colonial Portugese era through its beautiful historic architecture. Celebrating lunar new year today. The plaza is the perfect fusion of old and new, Portugese past and Chinese future

The Senado area is not a world-class spot but it is a nice add-on to a visit to St. Paul's and the city centre in Macau.
