The single most kitschy mall in Mammoth. Granted there are not a lot of them, but this does have some good points too.

However parking here is at an absolute premium, seriously there is barely any at all. There is one lot across the street for a buck or two during the winter and if you are at the condo’s here you can park underground. However, if you are hoping for regular parking, you will be disappointed.

None the less if you want a spot with nightlife in Mammoth, you will drag your butt here as the only “club” in town is here. They also have an assortment of independent restaurants, shops and a bunch of condo’s (both rentals and lived in I believe).

There is an Official Mammoth Mountain shop here right under the Gondola that takes you to Warming Hut II ooops we are supposed to call it some lodge name now… wutevers its still Warming Hut II to me and forever will be. This whole mall is fairly new built within the last 10-15 years and it definitely is appealing to the eye. Depending on the weather they have outdoor events and eating available here as well.

Most retailers are a bit more than you may find elsewhere, consequently I don’t usually come here for more than perusing. None the less it is fun to take the Gondola down from Hut II and experience some different stuff while in town. It also makes for a great post ski/board pick up location for someone who wasn’t on the mountain that day.

I know I will be back, but mostly its just for the entertainment and due to the fact that Mammoth is a small place with limited options. Perhaps I will see you here sometime…

Lots of restaurants and little shops to see while on your downtime from all the adventures and outdoor activities.

A great place to spend time when in Mammy!

There's a variety of restaurants, shops to visit inside the village complex. In the center, a huge firepit is always lit and inviting to sit and relax. Many events are also held here. For all the non-riders out there who are kind enough to accompany their friends up the mountain, this is a must-stop.

Have fun!

In comparison to other ski resort "villages," The Village at Mammoth seemed small, with not many sit down eateries nor shops to peruse. Despite this, it's the place to hang out and party on a weekend night during peak ski season. If you stay in or near The Village, be sure to take the Village Gondola up to the mountain. It's the easiest and fastest way up.

Be aware that parking can be limited at The Village. Take a shuttle from the hotel, hop on the local bus or carpool.

a central, modern venue with shops and places to eat.
There is also a fire pit.

During the winter times, there are free buses that would take you around time. The VILLAGE is where you can connect with other bus lines to different lodges. For those of you that are wants to go to CANYON LODGE, you can also park at the village and take the gondola up.

However... Please take note that there is very limited parking spots at the Village. So driving there is probably not a good idea. If you are visiting Mammoth, just do what everyone does. Hop on the bus and make your life easier.

stayed here with a group of 8 for a snowboard/ski trip and you can't go wrong staying at the village lodge!

we got a 4 bedroom condo and it spacious, new, homey, and convenient for food, drinks, mammoth buses, and lifts. the kitchenette at the lodge and the patio is great for cooking and bbq'ing. we never felt crowded with the 3 bathrooms we have and us girls had our own restroom that we never had to share with the guys.

all kitchenware/tableware/diningware are provided, all you have to do is bring the food and the booze if you're planning on cooking and dining in.

the village at mammoth is literally the heart of mammoth. eat, sleep, play, shop, and drink are just a few steps away. i really can't complain :)
