United States, behind only the White House. In 2006, the site was declared a National Historic Landmark. Elvis lived at the property from 1957 to 1977, when he died inside the house. The museum houses many artifacts from Elvis’ life and career, including his many costumes and cars. Elvis' grave is also on the premises. The house is kept in living condition, lending an intimate air to the exhibits. In fact, the Presley family still convenes on the house for Christmas each year.

Worth. Every. Penny! You'll love Graceland even if you aren't a huge Elvis fan. Incredible to see, absolutely insane amount of music memorabilia. I could literally spend three days here and still not have enough time to see it all. Thankyouverymuch!

The tour was great. You get your own iPad tour. We did the 44.75 one. It was 2 hours long and well worth it. Dont know if I would do the other tour for the price. We had an amazing time.

A Memphis icon that surely can't be missed, there is truly a lot to see here. While the area around Graceland may seem a bit drab, it is still a great attraction.

The main reason some would say to visit Memphis is to make the mandatory pilgrimage to the icon of Rock & Roll. Yes we did it. If you haven't been there recently they have expanded it tremendously. Really liked going through his plane and eating at the BBQ restaurant.

We have been to Graceland several times. It's a lot of fun to go during the holidays as well and see it decorated. The audio tour is narrated by John Stamos & Pricilla Presley. It's a must do if you are in Memphis.

Being a huge Elvis fan this place was a must visit place for me when I went to Tennessee. It majestic its kind of nostalgic - makes you feel the magician is alive.
Be prepared to keep quite a bit of time in your hand as the tour is long and so is the wait for ones turn.
Took the platinum pass which I believe was $20 more, utter useless. Take the normal pass and that is more than enough.

Loved visiting Graceland because I grew up with Elvis and was raised by Elvis fans. Staff could have been friendlier and more personable. I think Elvis would be disappointed in the lack of hospitality since he loved to entertain. Regardless... certainly a treat. Make sure you eat his favorite meal of meatloaf at the diner. Really delish! Thank you... Thank you very much!

Very enjoyable experience. Between the home tour, the automobile tour and the tour of Elvis' airplanes there is something for everyone. Even if you are not an Elvis fan you will enjoy these tours.

It's about 3 1/2 hours to Elvis' home, Graceland, but it's a beautiful drive from Nashville to Memphis on Music Highway.

I feel like you can't go to Memphis without splurging on a tour of Graceland. It can get really busy, so plan your visit right when they open. Even those who weren't that into Elvis enjoyed the mansion and learning about his life and home. It's easy to spend half the day here between the house tour, the plane, cars and the shops. I would definitely go back.

We didn't pay for this tour, which is good, but it wasn't a bad tour. We're not Elvis fans but enjoyed learning about his life and how the world with Elvis was. He was humble guy, which impressed me the most I think.

I wanted to find something cliche about Graceland. I wanted it to be an over-commercialized museum out to make a buck off a long gone celebrity. For me, it was none of that. Graceland was a surprise. It offers an intimate view into the life of a man who appeared to have it all, but does so with such respect and dignity often missing from similar experiences. Graceland offers a self-guided, interactive experience that truly gives the patrons a glimpse into the life of Elvis. Several tour packages are available and they are a lot pricier than most casual fans will want to pay, but touring just the mansion will leave you feeling as though the visit was incomplete. I recommend upgrading to the Platinum level to gain access to several onsite exhibits. Parking is also an added cost, but the lot appears to be secured and monitored by a private security firm. Most will be surprised by the neighborhood where Graceland sits. At night it's probably not the best place to be. Other than Graceland, there's not a lot of other things to do in the area.

Whether or not you're a huge Elvis fan, I think everyone should go to Graceland, and you're sure to enjoy walking through the mansion and the grounds, and the spot where Elvis is buried.

My sister and I have loved Elvis since we were little girls and we were in awe of Graceland. We took the Sun Records tour which was worth every penny of the $12.00 admission fee and from there we took a free shuttle to Graceland. The mansion seemed so much bigger in my imagination but we were not disappointed at all. The shops across the street had almost every Elvis souvenir one could think of. It ends with the gravesite of Elvis and his family.

I don't love museums, so for that reason, I wasn't that excited about visiting Graceland on my trip to Memphis. When I got there, I realized it was the complete opposite of a museum and one of my favorite experiences on the trip. I loved the tour of the house, seeing the car exhibit, getting to go into the airplane, and even seeing the graves where the family was buried. I learned a ton but also felt that the whole experience was really interactive and fun. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Memphis.

When in Memphis, this is a must see. Even if you're not a big Elvis fan, it's a trip back in time. it also shows how big Elvis really was during his live and even after his death. Loved the cars, also!!

I'd heard that I shouldn't set my expectations of Graceland too high since the idea of a mansion then is much different than we think about it today. It's a decent sized house on 14 acres and there are a couple of out buildings. The self-guided audio tour is excellent and there's a AAA discount.

I used the free shuttle from Sun Studio to get out to Graceland. It's not close to downtown.
