or snack on a chocolate duck (the only kind of duck served in this hotel) in this fabulous lobby. You can also grab a snack at the Corner Bar or a full meal at the Cappriccio Grill, an Italian Steakhouse also offering champagne brunch on weekends (its best to call for reservations). If you are looking for place to celebrate a special occasion Chef Phillipe, offering French cuisine is one of the nicest restaurants in town.

Free, fun activity that kiddos especially seem to enjoy. Adorable little quackers march into the fountain in the morning, swim around in there all day, then march back upstairs and into the elevator to retire to their rooftop penthouse for the night. Gimmicky, yes, but they've been doing it for years. And it's FREE!

Takes place twice a day and meets in the lobby. Even if you're not a duck fan, it's interesting to learn about the history of this tradition and see it in action.

I mean, you have to, right? It's the legendary duck march. make sure to get there early and hit up one of the best bars in Memphis at the Peabody before grabbing a spot.

This is a Memphis ritual at the South's Grand Hotel. For a better view, watch the duck march from the mezzanine level (daily at 11:00am and 5:00pm. If you are visiting at night, head to the rooftop and check out the duck's palace and catch some cool views.

It was really fun to come here and see the ducks marching through the lobby. Definitely a must see if you're here.

Haven't been in a while, but watching this twice daily "parade" is worth the trip!

This is what it looks like when the paparazzi arrive! Although the target of their lenses in this case might be a bit odd. Come on down to the Peabody at 11am or 5pm daily to learn the comedic history and see the spectacle for yourself. No matter what your age, it's a fun alternative to the traditional Memphis fare.
