Pujol was an excellent dining experience. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice as well. The tasting menu is around $90 per person, which by global standards is fairly affordable. This is an excellent special occasion restaurant or bucket list meal. Check for reservations well in advance if possible.

You have to book this restaurant WAY in advance (even then you may not get lucky). It has won awards and is one of the most popular restaurants in MC. It's quite a unique dining experience.

Ranked 20 in the top 50 Resturaunt’s in the world in 2017, Pujol is truly worth a trip to if you’re in the city. My favorites on their nightly tasting menu included the “street food appetizer” and their famous 1422 day mole. Every dish was made to perfection in their 6 course tasting menu and the service was superb. Put it on your bucket list!

Pujol's new location is tucked a way on a side street, almost as if you're going to a friend's dinner party. The staff is super friendly and accommodating.
Six courses with a few options for 4 of the courses. The sea bass was probably the highlight, kind of like a ceviche. The octopus was also tasty, charred well with a little spice.
The famous 1000 day mole was ok, guess not really a connoisseur.
Great cocktails too.
Dinner at the #20 restaurant in the world for $300 for two people is quite the bargain. Definitely worth planning far in advance to get a reservation.

Pujol is well-deserving of it's reputation as one of the world's best restaurants. Affordable by global standards and everything about the experience here is really special.

My husband and I snagged a table at Pujol on Thanksgiving this year, and it was one of the most memorable meals of the year. The menu is divided in course numbers, with no choice offered for the first and last, but your choice for the middle courses. All dishes showcase unique Mexican ingredients (huitlacoche and ant powder, anyone?) and in the most delicious style. As for drinks, my husband ordered a delicious tea-based cocktail with a local spirit he hadn't hear of before (I think it was called XTA, but could be wrong) and I was pleased to see multiple choices for non-alcoholic beverages for myself. We left feeling incredibly full and happy. It was a truly wonderful experience. The tasting menu was a steal at under $90, though the cocktails and wine were on par with typical US pricing (~$18/glass)

Pujol is ranked among the world's best restaurants (number 11 in 2015) and as in most of the world's "best", diners are given a set menu with many smallish courses.

While I usually prefer to choose my own food and enjoy a more casual dining experience, Pujol is Michelin-style eating with a difference. Dishes have a strongly local theme, while prices are a fraction of those at comparable places (c. USD $85pp) and there's no pressure to submit to the sommelier's preferences of paired wines.

I came in with high hopes of Pujol, and left happily stuffed and completely satisfied. Chef Enrique Olvera masterfully blends traditional Mexican flavors and ingredients with a modern gastronomy approach. The price is extremely reasonable for the amount of courses and the staff is lovely and very patient with those whose Spanish is not entirely up to snuff. If you aren't totally fluent in Spanish I would recommend taking a look at the website's English menu just to familiarize yourself with the dishes because there are some courses where you will have to choose between a few options.

I went to Pujol back in March 2013 and I enjoyed the overall experience. I ordered the Chef's menu, which I thought was priced reasonably for a Top 100 restaurant, but was a bit disappointed with the desserts. That said, I would still recommend giving Pujol a shot if you are in DF.

Widely acknowledged as one of the best restaurants in the city, presided over by executive head chef Enrique Olvera, who commands reputation with his inventive reinterpretations of classic Mexican dishes. Pared back minimalist decor to match the portions, which although exquisitely presented are pretty tiny.
