Art deco buildings, miles of sandy white beaches and plenty to do, Miami is a year-round summer vacation destination for singles, couples and families. While the city has its fair share of museum exhibits and cultural locations (don't miss the Ancient Spanish Monastery), it's the beach scene, nightlife, exotic cuisine and modern hotels that are the ... real attractions. Steamy South Beach is quickly becoming the place to see and be seen at one of the many haute couture shops, eclectic restaurants or trendy bars. For family vacationers, bring the kids to the Miami Seaquarium and Jungle Island, featuring lush gardens with animal shows and exhibits. Adults will love the plentiful golf courses, live jazz and tropical music, and chic nightclubs where everyone is dressed to impress. Miami is a top dining destination, and their unique "New World" cuisine blends local, Cuban, Latin American and international flavors. This is the city to try out a boutique hotel, as South Beach is chock-a-block with the trendiest of options. Venture out a few minutes from town to the Everglades for alligator spotting or Biscayne National Park for snorkeling among coral reefs.

(24C). While battling the crowds is normally something to avoid, this city has a pretty tolerable high season, in part because there are enough hotels to handle the spike, and also because the city is alive and buzzing with exciting activity, including the splashy Art Basel Miami Beach in December, during this time. The alternative would be to come between May and November when the weather is hot, reaching 90F (32C), and hurricanes are ever-looming.

I love Miami. This city has amazing beaches, great nightlife, beautiful locations and great variety of restaurants from all over the world. Theres a little bit of everything in this city, adventure (Virginia Key, the everglades) art (wynwood) food (lots of great restaurants) nightlife (clubs in south beach and downtown). So, come enjoy this amazing city!

I love Miami because there is just so much culture. Miami is the perfect place for a group of friends or just solo. I can confidently say this because of the atmosphere and vibe the city gives. You can find affordable hotels to the most luxury of places to stay. This is a major food destination also. Miami is heavily Spanish influenced , the food is going to be reflected on that. The bars and the clubs are a great places for groups. To dive bars, to luxury places like LIV. You will find something that interest you!

What an amazingly unique American city! Hot and steamy there is nothing quite like Miami.

I could live here but I wouldn't like it. After we've been there several times now we've finally found some cool restaurants and parts of town that we feel comfortable in but Brickel, for example, I feel like a ghoul there.

In the No. 1 city for nightclubs, it’s not enough to just stay open until 2, 3, or even 4 a.m. Two clubs on downtown’s NE 11th Street now stay open 24/7: the warehouse-based Club Space and the new E11even, a 25,000-square-foot club that boasts of being part cabaret, part Cirque de Soleil. If you need a change of scenery, go to The Corner, where you can get a plate of deviled eggs until 8 a.m. on Saturdays. Readers’ biggest craving in Miami, though, is for ethnic cuisine, like the legendary Cuban sandwiches at Versailles, which stays open until 4:30 a.m. on Saturday nights.
