Connecting King suites made for spacious accommodations for our large group. The views of the pool area and beach were beautiful.
This hotel is not for a younger crowd who looking for the night life in MIA. I had some other issues with this hotel but I won't completely bash them over the network
This hotel has everything. Literally. You never even have to leave the property in order to have a dream vacation. The bar is located in the center of the lobby and makes for an interesting happy hour which they host daily. A few steps back from that is a cafe/gelato shop with a wide array of cappuccinos and espressos. Further back you have the onsite restaurants and the entrance to the pool area which is normally filled with families and kids. The staff was extremely helpful, however the concierge was a bit slow (only one man on deck to help a ton of people during check in time). The hotel is located farther north than most, so it'll be great to take the family and get some much needed relaxation.
This is one of the rare hotels in Miami Beach that was built from scratch, just over two years ago, and it still feels new. And big. Starting at well over 400 square feet, the rooms are much bigger than most of the hotels further down in South Beach proper. They all have queen-sized sofa beds, too, making it good for small groups or bringing the kids. Overall, Grand Beach feels like a popular family vacation spot, although it’s a few doors up from the Fontainebleau, so foodies and ragers can always pop over there for a night out. There is an adults-only pool to escape the kiddie noise, although it faces the Intracoastal rather than the beach and is less leafy and picturesque. There’s a café in the lobby and a funny little sunken bar so you can start drinking Piña Coladas before you even get your room key.
This place is white. Stark white. And not that cool, clean Miami Beach white. I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about extremely refined, I'm terrified to take a sip of my wine lest I spill it on my grandmother's couch white. I'm sorry, this is a lovely, lovely hotel for people with OCD cleanliness disorders. But for me, I frankly felt a bit uncomfortable. It's too much. Overkill. There's a pretentious, up tight air here and I found myself struggling to breath. The only thing about this hotel I DID like was the pool deck, and even there, this is Miami, I've seen better... Rooms are sparkling clean and again, stark white. Looking to live in a sterile canister? Then you'll love it! Geez, someone get me out of here and bring me to dingy dive bar, stat!
A bit further from the center but really nice and reasonably priced. Rooms are large and face the ocean. All white decor and great service. I loved the access to the beach. Too bad you need pay for towels and beach chairs etc. even though you are hotel guest.
Great rooms, friendly service, and a very nice beach;
