I went to see Andrea Bocelli at the American Airlines Arena. The staff are so helpful and there is a huge range of places to get food and drink from. Queues to get in are small and it’s quick. Likewise leaving it quick albeit I’d recommend walking a few blocks away before calling an Uber.

I've been here once for a convention, but never to see a Miami Heat basketball game when LeBron was playing.

Top artists of all kinds have stepped in this arena to perform and speaking from someone who has also performed here, the arena is huge but easy to navigate, security is everywhere, good food, lots of rooms and space for people coming to see a show or people in a show.

Miami's foremost sports and concert venue. Catch a Heat game or a concert tour by your favorite artist. Only 15 minutes from our property. Parking available within the arena across the street.

Go to their website and view upcoming events. The Arena is near the water. Do not miss Bayside which is next door (its a place with restaurants, shops, outdoor music, and boat tours).

The AmericanAirlines Arena is a sports and entertainment arena located in Downtown Miami, Florida along Biscayne Bay. It was constructed beginning in 1998 as a replacement for the Miami Arena and was designed by the architecture firms Arquitectonica and 360 Architecture. The Arena is home to the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association.

The AmericanAirlines Arena is directly served by the Miami Metrorail at Government Center station via free transfers to Metromover Omni Loop, providing direct service to Freedom Tower and Park West stations. The Arena is also within walking distance from the Historic Overtown/Lyric Theatre Metrorail station.

The AmericanAirlines Arena has 2,105 club seats, 80 luxury suites, and 76 private boxes. The Waterfront Theater is Florida's largest theater which is housed within the arena, that can seat between 3,000 and 5,800. The theater can be configured for concerts, family events, musical theatre and other stage shows. American Airlines which has a hub at Miami International Airport maintains the AmericanAirlines Arena Travel Center at the venue.[7]

The airline also holds the naming rights for another NBA venue, the American Airlines Center for the Dallas Mavericks, which opened in 2001. AmericanAirlines Center should not be confused with AmericanAirlines Arena.

Watch the Miami Heat burn things up on the court or attend the many concerts hosted at the American Airlines Arena. Just a short cab ride over the causeway.

I grew up a huge Miami Heat fan. I love going to watch the greats compete right in the middle of South Beach. They have good food and beer stands. If you like basketball make sure you catch a game- Dwayne Wade is a legend!

Wonderful stadium which hosts different sport events, music concerts and a lot of other events.

Soon there will be The Miami Art Museum and Miami Science Museum next door and the waterfront will get even more exiting! Go Heat!!!

Being an adopted fan of the NBA champions, Miami Heat, I've had some great times here. Make your friends jealous back home by telling them you went to the AAA to see the Heat play. Tickets are normally available for this lovely arena. Be a shame to miss out whilst you're in town. If your'e not a sports fan, some of the world's biggest music artists perform here. CHeck listings prior to arriving in Miami.

Well appointed, impressive, amd with easy parking nearby. It does not get any better than that. I saw the Miami heat play the Indiana pacers in May 2012. Bracing myself for an impossible parking situation, I arrived early and parked in the Bayfront parking. We grabbed a few drinks and then headed off to the stadium-a quick 5 minute stroll. We just forgot to wear white.

The seats are comfortable and for the most part have a great view of the court. Awesome.

Great family outing watching the heat trio play. Variety of food is not bad for a sports event - you can even find sushi. Parking is a drag, so arrive early.

Putting their name on this beautiful arena is one of the few things American Airlines has done right.

The arena is gorgeous and there is not a bad seat in the house. The food options are aplenty ranging from poorly done Asian food to your overpriced, tasteless burger. They have bars and lemonade stands all over.

But who the hell designs an arena with no fricking cup holders?

They take my cap to my water and because there is no cup holder half my water ends up on the floor instead of being consumed.

AAA get me a cup holder!
