Zoo Miami is a great place to go with families and people of all ages! There is a fun waterpark and playground for little kids and activities like a Monorail that goes all around the zoo, animal shows to watch, and amazing food choices to choose from. As well, great scenery and exhibits are seen when you come to this zoo and it is clean and nice.

One of the nicest zoos that I have been to. The animals are in a natural setting so that you feel that you are walking through a natural game reserve.

Was ok very pricey and if you get package deal instead of just paying entrance only you can not use coupon in brochure. If you have a young child around five you need to pay for safari tour or monorail because too much for them to walk the park . Over all zoo nice but not spectacular.

One of the best zoos in the country, was almost destroyed by Hurricane Andrew. They have done an incredible job rebuilding. Best to go when it's not so hot or the animals will be lethargic.

You should plan a whole day to fully explore Miami’s zoo. There is so much to see and do: The water play ground is a favorite with my kids, but there are also days when we don’t even make it so far, because we spend hours feeding the parakeets in their aviary. Plan to spend a little extra money on animal interactions. You can feed the giraffes and the rhinos or ride on a camel. In the summer month there is also a gigantic water slide. The bike rentals, which fit up to six people, are totally worth it, especially if you are here the first time Explore the zoo for 2 hours on wheels and than walk back to your favorite exhibitions.

The Miami Metro Zoo is the perfect way to spend a beautiful day with your family in Miami. Plenty of animals, exhibits, feed the giraffes, splash pad, bikes for rent, and paddle boats to take a leisurely ride around. It is a local treasure.

So I went not so long ago with my brother and cousin and when we got to where the monkeys are they were sitting on the edge of the cliff thing that separates then from the humans. One of the monkeys was doing this hand sign for throw me some food and some people threw him or her some food but it fell before the cliff. I thought that was it, it was lost. But no. The monkey climbed down, grabbed whatever food it was, and ate it. When the rest of his monkey friends saw it they also started asking for food and people threw more and those times the monkeys caught it. Anyway, cool zoo. Metro train didn't work. Kind of expensive.

A family oriented environment. It's filled w/ plants & animals that are well taken off. Prepare for a hot day and plenty of walking although there is a monorail. Splash zones for the kiddies.

This wonderful zoo is home to over 1,200 plants and 2,000 animals, and is sure to pack an entire day of fun into your Miami trip! For families with your kids, they even have a Children’s Zoo within the park. The newest exhibit to open soon is Mission: Everglades, which will take a closer look at the vast grasslands that are home to many native Florida animals.

A great place for kids, adults, couples, families. The animals are in very natural environments for the most part and look well taken care of. Better during the Fall/Winter months, when it's not so hot.

With a famously sunny climate pretty much year-round, Florida is the ideal place for an expansive zoo. Located in Maimi, the Miami MetroZoo is the biggest and longest running zoo in the state. The attractions here are mostly open air, thanks to the weather, making for easy viewing of most of the many animals here. Rare creatures from Asia, Africa and Australia thrive in this setting like they do at no other zoo in America. With all the fancy attractions Florida has to offer, it's easy to scoff at and pass over a simple zoo. However, just like these elaborate attractions, the Miami MetroZoo is truly a step or two above the mundane. Don't miss it!
