This is a great concert venue to come to. My boyfriend and I have seen many classic rock bands perform here over the years. There are just three things I do not like about this venue: it gets very crowded, food is costly here, and, they charge often for parking. My boyfriend and I prefer to park somewhere else for free and walk there.

Everything about this venue is impressive. For the concert I went to, they had separated and blocked off traffic between the exists to avoid excess congestion. Leaving didn't take nearly as long as I had anticipated. I was seriously impressed. The alcohol prices however, were heartbreakingly high.

Best place for summer concerts outdoors on the lawn. As far as I can remember since the late 80's, I've been coming for concerts.

Shoreline Amphitheatre is THE most ghetto and unsafe venue I've ever been to! Their security is a joke as well as their Guest Services Manager.  Drunk obnoxious people hanging out in the same ADA box seating as we were in and the ones making trouble actually belonged in lawn seating! They were standing directly behind our chairs in a space meant to be a walkway... smoking, dancing & twirling around! They kept bumping into my gf's wheelchair!  We asked them several times to stop and they ignored us! At one point toward the end of the show a lady who was also in a wheelchair was trying to leave and these rude ass drunk people wouldn't get out of the way to let her pass through! I told them that they were being rude and have been all night. One of the girls got in my face and one of the MEN with them did too!  He was so drunk that he bumped into my gf's wheelchair again so I pushed him away and he fell to the ground. He gets up then proceeded to come at me again like he's trying to fight me! An amphitheatre employee saw everything and was calling for security. Security finally shows up and literally does NOTHING. The drunk guy made it around the sorry excuse for a security guard and in the process trampled over my gf again! Two nice women sitting next to us with their 7 yo niece stepped in and tried to get the drunk asses away from us and one of nice ladies ended up getting shoved to the ground and scraped up by that drunk guy! Still security did nothing...just watched this pathetic man attack us women!  We tell security to detain him because we want to press charges and security tells us that it's our word against theirs and pretty much washed his hands of the situation and let the drunk people go! The other venue employee who witnessed it all, also reported it to the Guest Services Manager ...backing us up. What did he do? Nothing! He even asked me "what would you like me to do?" I said, "it's your job, you tell me!" He said that he's known the security guard for many years and what we described is not like him.  We missed the last few songs that Gwen performed because of their lack of security. He hands me a fricken business card and said to email him and we can work something out for next season. Wtf does that mean!? I told him that we won't be back and I guess we now need to seek legal counsel!  My gf has a very rare nerve condition in her leg that already prevents her from doing things she used to be able to do. Being that she can't be bumped into etc., we really thought she would be safe in an ADA section. NOT THE CASE AT SHORELINE!  Not to mention the poor little 7 yo girl that was sitting next to us with her aunties... ran to the corner of the section and crouched down and cried when the drunkards were attacking us! Very traumatic experience! There were so many safety protocols that were not enforced or followed last night.

Great venue to see a summer concert. The front area is small enough to feel intimate but the lawn, under the stars, is really fun.

Very large ampitheater with a large lawn and very well designed flow for foot traffic. Parking wasn't bad for the concert I attended (free), and it was quick to get out!

Great venue to see a show. I enjoy sitting in the lawn section versus the seats but make sure to bring your patience. Lots of good people watching too.

The Bay Area is known for a great music scene. Shoreline Amphitheater is just one of the many venues that draws in some fairly impressive bands and performers; it’s also right by Google and LinkedIn’s headquarters.

This is Shoreline Amphitheater. It is an amphitheater located along the shoreline, not.

Shoreline is a large amphitheater that hosts large scale events. It is one of my least favorite event venues in the Bay Area. Unfortunately, there is only one road that leads into the vicinity, so traffic is a nightmare and there isn't a decent public transit option to the venue either. If driving, you'll be within one mile of the venue for nearly an hour before you can get to the parking lot. Please note, they often charge upwards of $15 to park as well.

In addition, the venue is massive. Even if you have seats, if you're in the back tier, you'll still be very far away from the stage. There is a very large grassy area with 3 video screens that they turn on when it's dark. However, please take notice, the middle screen, which is the largest, malfunctions. It can be extremely blurry and out of focus, so you're better off sitting at the right or left because you won't be able to see anything on stage anyhow.

Great outdoor music venue! I've been to 2 shows here and have loved them both! Tickets are super affordable and they bring it awesome artists. Reserved seats are nice but there is also something nice about packing a cooler of snacks (can't bring drinks in) and laying out a blanket and relaxing/dancing the night away!

Great spot to watch a concert. The stage is kind of tiny but you can get a great show here. The parking on the other hand on the way out is atrocious. Plan for at least an hour wait when you leave.

Came here for Beyond Wonderland 2014 among several other experiences and events. It's a great venue to see some big name musicians but also is host to fun activities and events like comedy shows and festivals. Parking is a total pain but the venue itself is great.

This place is always a awesome venue for the events that are held here! This definitely wouldn't be the type of place where you would watch the circus or Queen B. However, that classifies the type of events that are about the vocals, and events that you want to have a good time out since it's outside.

Bob Marley friendly on the lawn area means, there's going to be ratchets there and you're going to be smelling the ganja. At a Rock the Bells type event, this is awesome. Not difficult to wrap up a blunt and have it ready in the zipper pouch of your cross body bag. Sometimes, it's not appropriate at a Maroon 5/Kelly Clarkson event where there are a variety of ages.

I've also been here for Comedy Jam, and that event is so hilarious, along with the staging of the amphitheater, allows great audio. From the lawn seating, there are 5 huge speakers and projectors for those viewers to enjoy the show.

The traffic and parking to and from the venue is always horrid, but the good thing about Shoreline is that the parking is free, not your typical $20 over priced lot pricing. If you want to avoid this, buy VIP parking beforehand, since the workers are going to stress that it's prepaid parking.
Also, if you try to sneak in alcohol in water bottles, they take the caps and make you empty it out and say you can refill it inside. There are beers sold for $10, and garlic fries for $9 that are well worth it!!

I would suggest buying seated tickets depending on the event. If it is a show where you're going to want to sit and pay attention, then seats are worth it. If you are going to a show to rock out and sing along, then the lawn is a great vibe, but remember to be on ratchet patrol!

Big venue where most famous bands come to play in the Bay Area. I hate their dirt parking lot. Also, don't waste your money on LAWN tickets because it is sooo far away and the sound really sucks. Spend more for real seats or stay home watching a dvd of the band.
