You really get a good feel for the "real" Naples as you walk through this district. You won't find any chain stores here, but lots of lovely shops, historic buildings and churches.

From Villa Ravino property, we organise daily trip to discover the whole area with the Amalfi coast, Capri Island, Neaples City centre, Pompeii, Hercolaneaum, Vesuvio Voulcain. Ischia island is normally the main point to search for sleep and enjoy the beaches and thermal spring fot relax and natuale holiday.

Naples can be looked at as the stepsister of Rome, often under appreciated and not considered as beautiful. I see Rome as flashy, while Naples is humble yet charming. Take some time and travel through Spaccanapoli. Eat your way through the old quarter with a restaurant every 10 feet!

I honestly expected Napoli to be more romantic and nostalgic than it actually is. The city is a bit dirty and not well kept. Here are people running around everywhere but the city still still has a lot to offer. Head over to Toledo station and you'll be in the heart of the city with lots to do and see. Pricing in Napoli is very reasonable. Beer normally goes for anywhere between €1 and €3 but never more than that. Other drinks range around the same.

One of my favorite spots in Naples. Despite its dirty, chaotic and messy feel you'll get swept off your feet by its charm. After spending hours and hours in the historical center I can finally make my way through this endless labyrinth. Great place to go if you want to discover some of Napolis hidden treasures.

In my opinion one of the most genuine historic centers of Europe because its still a residential zone and a commercial area for those residents. No international shopping brands or chain restaurants here. Just bakeries, butchers, and coffee bars. And a tremendous amount of churches. The streets are narrow and the buidlings are high. I could walk around the "centro storico" for days and would still find it interesting.

This part of Naples is dramatically different from the areas such as Piazza Plebiscito or Via Caracciolo (lungomare), but it truly represents the heart of Naples. It's a blur of people, restaurant, street markets, old churches, bars, clubs, cafes, university facilities (lots of young people) and vintage clothing stores and all kind of crazy things popping out of every corner. This is a great area for pizza, hosting some of the most famous pizzerias in Napoli (Di Matteo, Sorbillo, Da Michele) but also a great hangout for night life, with hotspots such as Piazza Bellini. You might be a little afraid and discourage of the mess if you are new to the town, but its a great adventure nonetheless.

Un po' pazzesca questa quartiere. Un po' sporca. Ma cosi' divertente!

The Centro Storico of Naples may not be as clean or orderly as other Italian cities, but damn is it fun. Food is good, hearty and cheap. People are overall very friendly and there are lots of dark little corners to explore (perhaps at your peril). The neighborhood comes alive at night, when locals fill the squares to take in live music with a bottle of birra in hand.

The "Centre Storico" of Naples is the heart of this great city. The streets are lined with beautiful churches and artisian shops, as well as the best and most famous pizzerias in the city. The archaeological museum and Via San Gregorio Armeno are must sees.
