The old /ancient/ town of Nessebar is well known attraction to all who stay in the famous with its night life Sunny Beach!
What you will see in Nessebar: This is a peninsula, connected with the land with a lovely lighted long bridge. Main attractions are the 20 old churches /over 3-5 centuries old/ and 20 which are still hidden. Lovely old stone streets and cute shops with souvenir. Great atmosphere in the evenings!
Traditional and sea food restaurants are everywhere, prices are a bit high but views worth!
Plan an evening walk /2-3 hs/ on the peninsula with a dinner, You can not go wrong!

Nesebar is an ancient town and one of the oldest and the most beautiful towns on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast. Some people call it "the Pearl of the Black Sea". It is packed with medieval Orthodox churches of exceptional beauty - you can hardly find as many churches in one place as in this one. The oldest was built in the 5th or 6th century AD. The streets are covered with cobblestone, and typical for the old Mediterranean towns. You can enjoy in long walks or sit in one of numerous little cafes along the coast. The view on the town is magnificent. Don't forget that it is only a couple of miles away from the largest hotel resort of Sunny Beach. Don't miss this great encounter with history.
