We went for a bachelorette party and had a back room all to ourselves! The service and food was delicious!

If you go nowhere else in New Orleans, you will have an experience that cannot be beat if you're looking for a spectacular dining experience. The filet is amazing. All of the staff is the elite.

One of the oldest (if not the oldest) restaurants in the US. Oysters Rockefeller was invented here. Ask your waiter for a tour!

The Oldest Menu in New Orleans.
All the dishes you view at other New Orleans restaurants came from Antoine's.
The best of New Orleans!

Love the place and it's history, the Pompano is fantastic anyway they fix
It my favorite is pan sauteed with a garlic butter sauce. The filet and lamb are also excellent. They have many good servers I always use Thomas Schwank he is very good although in his mid 20s has the work ethic of top servers of 30 years ago.

It was 1840 when a young Antoine Alciatore founded what would eventually become one of the country’s oldest, family-run restaurants. In 1887, Antoine’s son, Jules, would take over the reins of the family’s fine-dining establishment and invent their famous Oysters Rockefeller recipe in his kitchen. Even though Antoine took ill in 1874 and died back in Marseilles, the chefs and wait staff claim that Antoine’s ghost still lingers in this world-renowned French-Creole restaurant, making sure that they continue to honor and uphold his great name and establishment.

One of the Grand Dames of creole cuisine, Antoine's is a place you go for the history as much as the food, which is standard fancy fish-and-oyster fare. You'll probably draw some negative attention if you're not dressed for dinner, so gents, wear a tie. What sets it apart from other, similar institutions are its spectacular private dining rooms and the fact that author Frances Parkinson Keyes immortalized it in her most successful murder mystery, Dinner at Antoine’s.

Amazing service, and even better food! Be sure to ask the history and walk around the 14 dining rooms. This place is much more than just a place to eat!

The oldest restaurant in New Orleans is (for me) also the best!
For a large restaurant (14 dining rooms) the service is surprisingly good.
The food is everything you expect from New Orleans. The dish that Antoine's is best known for is the Oysters Rockefeller. The Trout Pontchartrain is mouth watering and the Crevettes Remoulade is outstanding! If you want to experience New Orleans than make sure you visit Antoine's.

The food isn't the best, but go for the atmosphere. This place is full of so much history, make sure to ask for a tour of the restaurant!

Upscale, elegant, and worth every penny. Antoine's serves "old line" Creole cuisine in an atmosphere which is both elegant, yet unpretentious. All dishes on the menu are served a'la carte, but the gumbo here is the best I sampled in New Orleans.

If you're short on time, stop by the Hermes bar for a bite to eat to experience some of what Antoine's has to offer - you won't be sorry to drop a few extra dollars here.
