This restaurant is a timeless New Orleans tradition. Dine in luxury surrounded by oak trees, historical homes and cemeteries. There is also a Martini Lunch option that boasts $0.25 martinis [limit 3 per person]!

Commander's Palace is one of my favorite local restaurants. I love to come here for celebrations and the lunch drink specials. It's definitely expensive, but completely worth it. The managers are always perfect. I love it.

Famous Garden District Restaurant owned by the reknowed Brennan family's leading lady, Ella Brennan. Jazz Brunches are a tradition here in the garden room overlooking the coutyard. The traditional place in New Orleans to celebrate a special occassion and the staff goes over the top to make you feel like a king or queen for the event. Cannot recommend this famous restaurant enough. THere is a dress code. Reservations highly recommended

Just a few blocks from your home away from home you can visit this very famous 5-star neighborhood restaurant. Make advance reservations for lunch, dinner, or Sunday brunch. Did I mention the .25 cent martinis?

A New Orleans institution: suit jacket and slacks required for men. This is where New Orleanians go to feel fancy after church, but the food is fabulous and service is impeccable. Also the Lafayette Cemetery across the street is awesome to explore. And Octavia Bookshop nearby is my favorite in the city.

Superb dining. 25 cent Martinis for lunch! Treat yourself to Commander's Turtle Soup -nice and spicy - YUM ! Very attentive waitstaff. Reservations are required and if you can request to be seated on the second floor. Elegant with windows all around, it's like dining in the tree tops. Don't forget to have the bread pudding souffle for dessert the warm whisky sauce is to die for !

Excellent culinary staff. High-end on cost but worth every penny. Tried the tasting menu and wine paring, which was absolutely to die for. A must see location for dining while visiting the Garden District.

This was my parents favorite restaurant. I went here when they had a restaurant week special... Joys of being a local. The bread pudding soufflé was amazing. For me this is in the top five for restaurants in New Orleans.

Commander’s Palace is one of the most prestigious restaurants in New Orleans. The family have opened many spots in town, and have created quite a name for themselves in the world of fine dining. You’re guaranteed to have a high quality meal, and service, if you’re willing to pay the price that is. However, it’s no mystery that on Fridays, the restaurant offers an excellent deal for the folks who just don’t want to splurge for the dinner menu: a 3 25 cent martini brunch special. That’s right y’all. And they’re not even watered down. This is the perfect opportunity to get a nice New Orleans meal in without the guilt, because you’ll practically be drinking for free. Maybe you’ll even feel guiltless enough to order dessert (bread pudding, cough, cough).

One of the best and most famous restaurants in New Orleans! Rather you go there for lunch, dinner or brunch, you won't be disappointed. Don't miss out on their $0.50 martinis!

I'm not a fan of the Brennan family restaurants or high end restaurants in general but Commander's is the exception. Go for lunch and enjoy a reasonably priced meal and 25 cent martinis...the best!
