This is probably the most expensive restaurant I have dined at. The food was amazing and the service was top notch. Also, you need to make a reservation weeks in advance.

Keep in mind this is one of the most expensive restaurants in the area. However, if you're looking for a brilliant night out this is the place to go. This is a great up-scale NYC spot.

Per Se was an amazing culinary experience! With a 7 course tasting menu, each bite was refined, delicate and the combination of flavors was delicious. Thomas Keller is a genius in everything except the fish, which was a bit disapointing compared to everything else on the menu. The decor of the restaurant is a bit cold / unpersonal, but you don't come to Per Se for the ambiance, you come for the fabulous food! Service is perfection. Highly recommend it although better watch out for the check.

An amazing restaurant for very special occasions, Per Se is everything it is cracked-up to be. Go hungry and enjoy every bite.

Thoughtful dishes and tasty food. If price was weighed more here, I would give it a four and a half stars. I actually like Jean Georges and Picasso better. My wife likes Per Se better than Jean Georges, but we both agree Picasso kicks both their butts.

Per Se and Thomas Keller deserve all the praise and every star they have received. Every single dish was perfect. What a truly amazing experience that I can only hope to have again one day.

Unless you’re willing to take out a second mortgage, Per Se is probably not the best bet. The food is, obviously, perfected. Presentation, ambiance, service--it has it all. So why do I still feel like there is something missing?

To my surprise, it was just as good, if not better, than Keller's original French Laundry. In addition to maintaining its top notch reputation by presenting some of the world’s best tasting dishes, the restaurant carries a certain elegance that none of his wine country establishments do. With a contemporary and elegant flair, Per Se embraces a certain beauty that is just the amount of appropriateness for a city like Manhattan, yet, manages to maintain that Thomas Keller hospitality and aura that is present at all of his California restaurants. Expect to splurge! $295 per person, inclusive of gratuity. 9 Courses.

Overlooking Columbus Circle and Central Park from the Time Warner Center, it's a far cry from the French-country-farmhouse-style quaintness of Thomas Keller's French Laundry in Yountville. What Per Se lacks in charm, it makes up for with slick and contemporary, almost opulent interior. The menu, while featuring some Keller trademarks, has taken on a slight edge too it that can only come from a New York restaurant. If you come in with an open mind [and open wallet], expect to have one of the best meals of your life.
