I have lived in Brooklyn all of my life, but never had any idea that there was art in Bushwick until I took this tour. We saw unobtrusive little works, art covering huge warehouses, and everything in between. Jeff knows his subject cold and spoke knowledgeably about styles, artists, and history while we admired the art. Bushwick is gritty but safe, with coffee houses, restaurants, and boutiques to keep you occupied before and after the tour. SOHO was like this 40 years ago. I recommend the tour without hesitation.

Great artists come together for these murals throughout bushwick. Always changing and always something new, this is one of my favorite things about the neighborhood

Great walking tour of the area around the Jefferson subway exit in Bushwick. Allow a couple of hours as the number and quantity of works will amaze you. Craft beer bars and natural food stores are cropping up in the area due to the art traffic. Cool space.

This Free Tours by Foot guided exploration of Bushwick's street art is a hidden gem. Bookable online at www.freetoursbyfoot.com, guests pay what they like (suggested donations are in the $20-$40 range). The guides are knowledgeable and friendly and the street art is among the best in the world. Highly recommended. Book in advance. Runs a few times per week. Departs from the corner of Bogart and Siegel. Takes 2hrs 20min. Plan to spend a few extra hours exploring on your own.

Izzy and Mar are excellent guides who took my appreciation of street art and graffiti to a new level. Their passion is contagious and they know their stuff.
