Natural beauty and man-made kitsch -- there's a little something for every taste in Niagara Falls. Bordering the Canadian province of Ontario and the state of New York, the falls include two sections, ... Read more
the Horseshoe Falls and American Falls. When glaciers receded during the last ice age, the falls formed. Today, they're known for their beauty and as a favorite spot for watery weddings and romantic honeymoons. An entire tourism industry has sprouted in the area, so visitors keep plenty busy on both sides of the border: ice wine tours in Canada, outdoor theatre on the US side, and helicopter tours on both.

Simply beautiful. Seeing it in the winter with everything freezing over, absolutely beautiful.

It was winter time when I went, so they weren’t running the cruises and it was snowy so we couldn’t go down by the water, but it was so beautiful!

Niagara Falls is beyond beautiful! There are so much to do there for free! However, I highly recommend you do the Cave of Winds Tour! We were so close to the water and that was amazing!!

Very beautiful. It's cold no matter what season it is, but the water is amazingly powerful. To be honest, I think the river was prettier than the falls themselves.

Niagara Falls is the the collective name for three waterfalls within the borders of Canada and the United States. Breathtaking views of the Falls. So many tourists around so it's really hard to take a beautiful picture. Be prepared to get wet.

If you're into the outdoors and great scenery, Niagara Falls does the trick. The waterfalls were breathtaking to say the least. I highly recommend doing the maiden of the mist boat ride as well. The trip goes up close to the waterfalls to see everything for the most amazing experience. They also give you ponchos because it can be a watery ride. There's also another attraction that allows you to walk through some trails where a part of the waterfall actually rains down on you. Make sure you're comfortable being wet though, or bring a change of clothes.

The historic Niagara Falls! Gorgeous landmark, but leave it at that. If you plan on visiting, go to the Canadian side and stay in Toronto (1- 1:30 hours away) as the town of Niagara Falls itself is a "tourist trap." It's a wonderful day trip and should be experienced before you grow too old!

The falls are gorgeous. So much more awe inspiring in person. Be sure to bring sunglasses on a sunny day. The glare is intense.

Every visitor to Toronto should make the trip to Niagara Falls, about 1.5 hours drive away. One of the natural wonders of the world, the breathtaking view is better from the Canadian side. At night, the falls glow with changing coloured lights.
