As the Gateway to West, Omaha offers the promise of opportunity as much today as it did to its pioneer founders in the mid 1800s. Perched on the banks of the Missouri River, this midwest metropolis is home to four Fortune 1000 company headquarters, as well as a bustling historic downtown brimming with shops and restaurants.Ride a horse-drawn ... carriage along worn brick streets, wander through the Old Market or take in the “Omaha Sound” with a live performance from one of Omaha's emerging indie rock bands. A sports-oriented town with a taste for the arts, the city has venues for all tastes, as well as an abundance of parks and trails for those who just want to get away.

Omaha is a major city and gateway to the northern plains. There are many different activities for everyone. You will need at least two days to explore the area. Disability access and disability parking will depend on your activities.

Nebraska's largest city. It isn't the most exciting city in the U.S., but it is clean, and friendly. Check out the zoo, which is one of the best in the country, and then grab a meal in the old town heymarket

Omaha is a fast-growing city in the Midwest. It has a nostalgia charm to it, combined with excellent dining, museums, and culture. The cobblestone, clean Old Market downtown is the perfect place to take a stroll at dusk. Make sure to visit the classic Zio's Pizzeria for some New York style pizza! Also be sure to visit the Henry Doorly Zoo for some family-fun, the large Desert Dome won a world record for best zoo feature. Come to Omaha for some city charm!

It's surely not one of the biggest cities in the USA but it is really well structured and organized. The old part has very nices shops and restaurants. Villas of residential area are beautiful. I did really enjoy my time there.
