Lush, vibrant, artsy and well-attended, the Parker Palm is a great place to stay. Individually crafted rooms, lovely pool, tennis courts and a couple of awesome restaurants: Norma's and Mr Parker's. Good for business or pleasure.

The restaurant at the Parker Hotel is a must! But know that it's not cheap. What it is is comfortable, casual, Southern California, young, hip, luxury. The food is perfect. The hotel is beautiful, but fun and eclectic. Get your photo taken in front of the big iconic orange door when you arrive. And take a walk around the seemingly endless outdoor area. Just be careful, you might get lost. The way it's landscaped creates almost a maze of smaller areas.

Coolest bar/restaurant/hotel in So Palm Springs. It is located directly across the street from the condo.

San Luis Obispo

The pinnacle of Palm Springs resort hotel luxury is this five-star hotel a short drive east of downtown. It was the first hotel project by bold, distinctive designer Jonathan Adler, and the result is a space more contemporary than many of the other delightfully retro-modern properties in PS. The on-site spa has outstanding treatments, and dining isn't too shabby here either. Cocktails are divine at the bar.

While driving around, take a quick stop into the Parker, just off Highway 111. Great architecture and period styling. Food, drinking's and a nights stay aren't' cheap, but walking around the grounds is free.

I prefer renting a vacation home to staying in a hotel, but if you must, this is the place to stay. The ultimate in Palm Springs Luxury with a hip Jonathan Adler flair. Drive up the driveway and get free valet parking from the guys in mauve-colored pants. Be sure to tour the gorgeous grounds.

Super posh and tastful. They have grounds out back that include small groves for bonefires, and private lawns for private parties. I went to a beautiful wedding here. Pricy though.

Everything about this hotel says luxury. The spa was fabulous and the most zen relaxing experience I’ve ever had. The grounds and gardens of the property are pristine and manicured daily. The food there was exquisite. I love the rooms that feature old school “throwback” décor. Gene Autry used to live on site, and the place is a hotbed for quiet Hollywood types. The bar is the most beautiful you will ever see. The service doesn’t get any better, and as they say on one of the videos “ they let you swim after you eat” hah hah. And we just loved Palm Springs with the temperature (we were there in April) and the mountain views from pretty much everywhere. A very cool part of the country.

I stayed at Parker Palm Springs at end of March 2012, and it was so great! My hubby and I went for 3 nights as our mini babymoon.

The Crowd: Overall, a trendy crowd. Having lived in LA, I would describe it as very "LA." On the weekend I went (note that there was also a wedding), I noticed many young couples, some with young kids. One of the pools is a kids pool which I think attracts the young families.

The Service: Very pleasant staff. Always friendly everywhere I went.

The Grounds: What I like best about the grounds here is that the there are many nooks and hidden areas with cool things to do. One minute, you'll find a circle of comfy lawn chairs around a fire pit, and around the corner, you'll find a patch of grass a palm trees sporting hammocks. These are great because the main pool area really does get crowded quickly. Good luck finding a spot if you're not out there early enough.

The Rooms: We got a deluxe room which was great. It is not super spacious, but comfortably fit a King sized bed and your basica amenities, including a large flat screen TV. Also, there was a little outdoor area (sandy) that had a cute hammock. We didn't use it, but it was cute. What we didn't love was that behind the fence of our little backyard was the parking lot. We heard a few other guests comment that their rooms were on the small size, but ours was fine. Btw, they have all sorts of fancy soaps and shampoos--L'Occitaine, Hermes to name a few!

PSYC (Palm Springs Yacht Club). PSYC is the name of the spa. The staff is very friendly. Hubby and I got massages which we both enjoyed. It's a pricy massage, but given the amenities and quality of service, we felt it was fine. Don't miss the indoor pool--it's beautiful, and the atmosphere is so relaxing. On Saturday morning, I went to a complimentary yoga class by this pool. Instructor was great!

The popular mid - century hotel for movie stars and people from LA. Restaurant and Spa - open to public

A very eclectic hotel located in the middle of the desert. The hotel grounds are well maintained and there is a spot to hang out at for everyone at the hotel. The adult pool (21 and over) is the scene and get overcrowded during the spring and summer; but which pools aren't. The hotel is a great option for those that like different quirky styled hotels (think SLS hotel in Los Angeles or Cosmopolitan hotel in Las Vegas). I will be going back to stay there during my next trip to Palm Springs.

You're probably wondering why I would suggest a Hotel in my reviews, well this Hotel has two things we do not offer 1. Spa 2. Restaurant
The Parkers Spa is unlike any other spa in the desert. From the products they use to the posh nautical ambiance this place is worth checking out! They have two indoor pools along with sauna and yoga classes. I'm a licensed esthetician and out of all spa's in Palm Springs this is my FAV!
Now don't forget their restaurant Mr. Parker's. You will defiantly need a reservation for this restaurant. The lighting is dark and the art is so unique and abstract. They often times have a live piano player that sets a great old-school mood. The steak is the best in the desert and the wine selection is superb! A romantic spot that I truly enjoy.

This is the place to be in Palm Springs!

Off the beaten path at least fifteen minutes drive outside of town and hard to find from the street. Once you are inside it is so spacious and stunning.

Fun and funky style pulled together with tons of class.

Oh and if you have time get in a pedicure appointment at their spa. This is how I find out all of the scoop on the who, what and where of the hotel. Just tell them you love the hotel and heard lots of famous people come through there... that's all you need.... they will start spilling..... "Nichole Richie is staying on the property right now".

San Diego, California, USA

Hands down my favorite hotel! Love the Jonathan Adler decorated rooms, the fluffy sheep skin rugs, the amenities are fabulous!! You can play croquet on the lawn or shop in there amazing boutique on site. Mr. Parker's is such an awesome restaurant and they have impeccable service! You must try the muddled lemon cocktail at the bar! The spa here is to die for. I could spend all day in there.

Anaheim, California

I can't say ENOUGH about this hotel! It's like being in Hawaii in the desert! A MUST stay!!!

Los Angeles, California, United States

Great grounds. Seriously dated rooms. Cobwebs in my room...and no flat screen HD TV in my room. Extremely pricey for what you get.

This is the place! celebrities, style, plush. And yes it will cost you.
