Great spot for a perfect lunch. Great menu. Sit by the pool and have a glass of wine.

The Riviera was built in the late fifties in the unique shape of a spoke wheel. The former stomping ground of the Rat Pack, this classy hotel signifies retro modern glamour. The conference center and meeting rooms are ideal for large groups. There’s also two pools complete with cabana rentals and in ground stone fire pits, a fitness center, breezy outdoor dining area and multiple bars. The rooms are decorated in rich chocolate, gold and peacock tones.

This place is super misleading. If you book through a third party like Orbitz, they will stick you in buildings 4 & 5 which is the ghetto. If you ask for a room change, they try to look like they are accommodating by giving you a discount on an upgrade. Super disappointing and DEFINITELY not worth the money.

Great place to stay in Palm Springs.

It doesn't have the spark of Viceroy, Parker or Colony Palms but it is beautifully appointed and lovely. The staff is accommodating and families are welcomed.

The Riviera, one of my favorite places to go to. They have a beautiful pool, spa services are excellent, on the pricey side.
If you are looking for a nice relaxing evening, go on Sunday's 5 to 9 pm one of my favorite bands (The Art of Sax) plays outside on the patio at the Sidecar Bar. Hotel is a mid-century design, you will enjoy the ambiance. The Rat Packs hang out in the 50's!

Fun pool parties. Retro decor. But be aware of the difficulty of self-parking during high season.

Step back in time to the 50s, and imagine the "Rat Pack" hanging out. Have a cocktail poolside.

just minutes from my place... This hotel recently went thru a 70 million dollar redo. It's Post Modern Glam to the max! The giant pool and myriad cabanas, are a great way to enjoy a hot afternoon with a tropical drink and see who's who.

Just around the corner from our house, we feel very fortunate that we can walk to Circa59 for fine dining, or hang out at the very swanky retro-styled bar called Starlight Lounge. Must see if you are staying at our place.

Let them whisk you away to a time when men were gents, women were dames, jazz was jive and vacations were long.

Opened at the height of the Palm Spring renaissance, The Riviera was infamous as a beguiling hot spot for Hollywood swingers the likes of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. Keeping the original tune of glitzy playpen of the elite, but updating it for the current crowd of gorgeous L.A. weekenders and jet-setting vacationers, The Riviera croons a sweet song all its own.

At any given time, the hottest scene is unquestionably poolside, and guests flock to claim the decked-out cabanas. Luxuriating with the perfectly cool water at your toes, a chilled cocktail in hand, and the unstoppable glory of the desert mountains towering nearby—you’ll know you’re in a true oasis. And it only gets better as the day turns to night.

Still, don’t be fooled by the endless flow of fun or the opulent, stylized decadence of its exterior. Underneath, The Riviera has a genuine heart of gold. The charming staff welcomed us with a sincerity that you rarely see at such hyped-about, glamorous resorts. The spa, practically incognito in a building that used to be a ballroom, will absolve the sins of last night’s party, lulling you into a heavenly Zen. And for all its devilish pizzazz, The Riviera’s restaurants source their earthly decadence from wholesome, locally-grown produce, and serve boutique farm meats and eco-friendly seafood.

If you prefer relaxing in the content privacy of your own room, a mountain of colorful pillows awaits you, set into the expansive landscape of a high caliber bed. Soak in the freestanding marble bath, and gape at your palace of a bathroom, outfitted with lush towels and exclusive SpaTerre products. If you’re still feeling sassy, wrap into your robe and swagger onto your private terrace, nodding to the luminous desert moon like an old chum.
