Best "Cool" Breakfast in Town! Be warned, there is almost always a wait.
Just want an awesome breakfast and you can do without the fun hip scene? Then go to Elmers on Palm Canyon... 5 minutes from the house.

If you are up for wait (1 hour), this place has the best breakfast in town...

Best breakfasts in town! Opens at 8:00 am and the line starts to form around 7:45 so if you don't want to wait get there early. Menu changes weekly...Cheeky's also has great lunches....and for dinner Birba, its' sister restaurant has a wonderful patio, full bar and great small plates.

Okay so I felt the need to check out the restaurant that always has an excruciatingly long wait. I mean 45 minutes plus for breakfast? I went, did the wait and it was just, meh. The food was good. Not the best I've ever had but good. Service was just okay. Palm Springs has so many great restaurants that serve up excellent food with a smile. This was just not my fave.

Great service! Great food! I had the Benedict on a cheddar biscuit- so yummy! And the mimosa was super fresh! You may have to wait a while for a table but you can go next door for a drink while you wait and they'll come grab you when your table is ready!

Delicious breakfast/brunch spot! I highly recommend the fresh corn and blueberry pancakes and the Bloody Mary! The wait can be a bit long so plan on waiting close to 45mins/hour on weekends.

Great brunch spot! One of the best in Palm Springs if not the best. The wait can get a bit long like most get brunch places but well worth it.
Definitely try the French Press coffee , blood marry and eggs Benedict!

Probably the best breakfast around, let alone in Palm Springs. Those corn pancakes and the bacon flight really start your day right!

It's way out in North Palm Springs, but it's one of the best breakfast experiences you could have. Be prepared to wait in a long line, and if you eat bacon, don't miss the bacon flight. Their house coffee is almost as good as the french press at the Ace/King's Highway.

Let there be brunch! The same dynamic duo that brought us Birba and Jiao run Palm Springs' busiest breakfast restaurant, Cheeky's. The breakfast offerings are relatively traditional, but hit the spot and then some. A word of warning, there WILL be a line here if you sleep in. Scoring a table at Cheeky's require either a willingness to hang around for 45 minutes, or making it to bed the night before at a reasonable enough hour to make it to breakfast at a respectable time. I'll let you choose which for yourself!

Once again, Yelp delivered a spectacular place! Hit the "hot spots" on my Blackberry Yelp app, and Cheeky's came up.

The menu is quite interesting. There were a lot of choices and I settled on an "Egg White Fritata" that came with Avocado, Avocado Oil, and Arugula. It was spectacular!! The coffee was organic and had the most amazing flavor too.

I will be back on my next visit.

Right now, you can't do any better for brunch in downtown Palm Springs. Who cares it the wait is 30-45 minutes on weekends? The line moves fast, and once you're seated and slurping up a kale smoothie, munching on a bacon tasting flight, and snacking on chilaquiles, you won't care. Tip: Sign yourself in on the wait list, then head down the street to Koffi coffee shop for an espresso to nurse while you're waiting for your table to be called.

A favorite of all the locals and once you've been there it will be yours too.

Cheeky's is a very popular restaurant for breakfast and weekend brunch. They open at 8:00 a.m. (time may vary by season) and there is usually a wait list that forms starting about 30-60 minutes after opening. If you arrive later in the morning, just sign-in at the host station. Request a table outside for an alfresco dining experience. It's also Fido-friendly outside!
