Explore the Palm Springs Air Museum and book your flight on a vintage aircraft for a spectacular flight over Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley. Join the local veterans and museum docents and staff to observe the moving Memorial Day Flower Drop.

One of the finest Air Museums in the country is only a few miles away. Located at the Palm Springs International airport, enjoy vintage and historic planes, lectures, heck, maybe even meet some of the pilots who flew them.

Located a few miles from the house, walk around the museum and get up close and personal with some historic plans. Great place to spend Veteran's and/or Memorial Day, as they have special events on these Holidays. You can also take a small plane to see the desert from above.

Take a step back in time at the PS Air Museum! Great restored aircraft with some you can actually go into. Most of the restoration of the airplanes is done by local volunteers - many prior service Vets.

Close by and worth a visit on the hottest of hot days or the rare rainy day. Make sure to see if there is an "open cockpit" day.

For the anti-shopper... something different and interesting to do while the others hit the stores. 10 minutes drive.
