One of my favorite places. The pass (Bay) and Gulf of Mexico meet
and is a beautiful sight. There's a wading are for the children.
A walk in store is available on sight, plenty of restrooms and some of the best scenery you'll see while on your vacation.

This is a beautiful ark that has great views of the ocean and bay. You can go to either and enjoy swimming, walking or sunbathing.

Watch fishermen clean their catch feeding the pelicans and dolphins as they await their treat to be tossed off the pier.
Tour the old paper mill, where many area school children spend an afternoon and lunch in the pavilion.
Walk the alligator trails, or bike the entire park! Take a picnic for the gazebo's and your beach gear to enjoy the shallows of the jetty protected region (great for crab catching!) or snorkle the jettys!

We provide a family pass to these beautiful beaches and excellent shore diving! You can either use the gulf side beach for the normal beach experience, or use the jetties side beach, which is called the "kiddie pool." The kiddie pool is perfect for children because it has the beach but without the waves and most of it is very shallow, especially at low tide. It is also great for beach combing and shell collecting, because the shells are mostly intact.

Divers enter the kiddie pool to go shore diving in the jetties, which has awesome sea life including Goliath groupers!

There is a shuttle to shell island along with boat rental, and a supplies store.

There is also an alligator pond with a pier so you can watch the alligators. There are also numerous deer, we see them every visit, especially at dusk.

It's only $8 to get in and 100% worth it. You can take in the local vegetation and wildlife, including deer, gators, dolphins, stingrays, etc. There's a huge white, sandy beach area with crystal clear water to swim near the jetties that's perfect for snorkeling and swimming with the family. We suggest renting a boat to Shell Island for a day.

This is a great state park to visit. We saw a blue heron and at least nine deer. The beach is great. There's a camp store, kayak rentals, pontoon boat rentals and more.

Great beach away from the "crowds" on the main part of Front Beach Road. Beautiful to drive thru and learn about the area. Voted #1 State Park in FL for several years. There is a small entry fee per vehicle..

This is a hidden treasure in Panama City Beach and only a nice beach walk from my home. There is so much wildlife and a great pier for morning sunrises and evening sunsets. My daughter and I walk to the pier every morning to catch the sunrise when we are in town.

The beach park offers something for everyone. One side of the beach is protected by a jetty, providing calm waters and a perfect place for children. The park offers camping, biking, hiking, boating, swimming, a gator habitat and spectacular sunsets. There is an entrance fee and plenty of parking.

So many people miss this attraction and head to Shell Island...well there are 2 sides to the jetties, take a boat to beautiful Shell Island or drive your car to St Andrews State Park and go to the Jetties beach, same dolphins on each side, same boats and ships on each side, both extremely beautiful...except, there are toilets, covered pavilions, charcoal cookers, cold showers to rinse sand and salt of before getting back in your family car in St Andrew's State Park and last I checked, all for $8 a car load.

ps. I go here a few times a week, sit a read. It's so beautiful

This is a state park. This is just down the street from our condo. If you enjoy the great outdoors (other than our beaches) this is a good spot for you.
