Since it doesn’t cost to go in, this is great on a budget. Beautiful architecture and beautiful window works. I highly recommend it.

Notre Dame is arguably one of the most famous churches in history, only slightly less famous than St. Peter's Basilica in Rome and La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona.
Most of us grew up with the Disney classic based off Victor Hugo's work (The Hunchback of Notre Dame), and seeing it in person does not disappoint. The entry is free, although if you want the audio tour or to climb the tower, it does cost a small fee, if you want to go inside, get there early!!
Notre Dame is also a great place for worship as well. For anyone of the Christian faith, it is a cool experience to pray in a place that people have been praying for centuries.

This is even more stunning in real life and something everyone should experience. My first experience was taking a river boat tour to be able to see the architecture and structure and from there I knew I had to go inside. And I was speechless. You get this overwhelming feeling around you of all the history that has happened in this building putting you in a state of awe and wonder. Easily one of the most beautiful place in all of Paris.
It is even more impressive and gorgeous in person than you think it might be. This is generally true of about everything in Paris.

A mandatory site for tourists but be prepared for insane lines. The climb and view at the top makes it all worth it

takes a bit and high hills but is a total worth view for the city. It is breathtaking and so safe for solo travelers.

Notre Dame is a classic and one of the most well know cathedrals in the world! While it is smaller than some cathedrals it is stunning. It definitely gets crowded so going early is a good idea plus it's free! Beautiful stained glass windows and an interesting history. You can pay to also go on a tour of the towers and see the gargoyles up close.

We made a beeline to the Notre-Dame right after watching the sunrise at the Eiffel Tower. Getting there before 8:30am was the best thing we could have done!! It was before all the tour groups came in so we had the church almost to ourselves. It was weird! But awesome. The earlier you can go, the better. It’s free if you aren’t going up to the top. The top doesn’t open until 8:30 which is why it’s so quiet in there right at 8:00am.

Free to visit. Usually there is a line but it moves rather quickly. To go up to the tower there is a different line, however. You must get there early if you want to go up and see the bells.

A Paris icon that is viewed best from inside and out, this is a must-see for any visitor. Try and catch a mass for a truly Parisian experience.
Every church has their certain charm to spiritual, warming but also mysterious sensation that anything can take place here .. Notre Dame it’s not only amazing in the arquitecturales displayed but its beautiful for the comforting feelings that it brings just standing outside of it !!

We made a stop here , as the notre dame cathedral is a popular must stop, however my boyfriend and i were pretty buzzed when we arrived so and they stopped us because we had a backpack and we couldnt bring it inside. We than took turns to go in. Inside was a beautiful cathedral you can probably spend a good 20 minutes in there to see the whole thing thoroughly but because we didnt want either of us to wait we made a quick spin and came back out. They do sell these tree branches outside that you can probably pick somewhere but they call it the holy leaves ?
Its a steep climb to the top but the views will be so worth it! If you plan to see more than a few museums, a museum pass is worth it and you get to skip the slow lines.

The Cathedral is one impressive French Gothic medieval building. We visited on Sunday morning and explored its exterior but found the queues too long and postponed the tour of the interior and the climb up its towers for another time, hopefully not in the very distant future.

Beautifully crafted. It stands out from a lot of the other landmarks in Paris.

This cathedral is a must see! You might be tempted to not go inside because of the long lines, but the lines move fast, and it's worth the wait! Be very careful about pickpocketers in this area... they are everywhere because of the amount of tourists waiting in line.

This brings everything into perspective and makes you question the meaning of life itself!

IMPORTANT... DO NOT be scared away by the long lines (like I was originally)! Not only do they move SUPER FAST but it is also free to enter! The experience was much better than anticipated for one of the world's most famous landmarks. They even do free tours throughout the day in different languages. Definitely worth seeing and going into! It was really amazing because the church is 850 years old! Much older than most churches and it looked completely different than in design than it's younger siblings around Europe.

This is one of the greatest religious building I've ever seen. It has breathtaking architecture.

A catholic's must visit, when in Paris. The cathedral is beautiful (inside and out)
Yes, it's elbow to elbow tourist destination (for all), but it is definitely worth a visit.
