Love coming here for brunch! Great selection of healthy food options and delicious drinks. I love he matcha green tea latte and the wild mushroom pizza. Perfect place for a date or to catch up with friends!

A hipster place for good food. Quality is decent. Service is a bit slow. Bread pudding always a winner - the side portion is plenty (oatmeal sized amount). The breakfast portion is too big unless you’re sharing.

Visited during the Rose Parade. I had the unenviable task of going for coffee before the parade. Lol.

The Good: They are prepared for the onslaught of peeps getting coffee. They had a system going that got your order on several lines and your coffee on another spot.
I ordered 4 large hot chocolate and and 3 large caffe mocha. Oh and 6 ham & cheese croissant. What was I thinking. Lol. Try lugging all of that and navigating the sea of humanity that was on the parade route. Lol.

The Bad: The lines. It went fast on the ordering lines. But, the it took almost 35 minutes to get my drinks. They skipped me for sure.

The Ugly: No bathroom was available during the parade. A lot of peeps were asking about it and were politely directed to the nearest porta- potty. Lmao.

All in all, they did an awesome job for a humongous crowd!!

You can't ever go wrong with their signature drink-- Spanish latte! This is my all time favorite drink off the menu which is why you'll notice a little red star next to this item to indicate to you that it's one of the most ordered drinks off the menu!

Parking isn't all that great here because it's metered so circle around the area and try to find street parking!

Finally get to try this popular cafe place. Definite the nicest one in Pasadena. Great decor and nice atmosphere which suitable for couple or date.

They had large selection of drinks, food, and cakes. I try fee time here. My favorite is their drink and cake, they food is overpriced for the quality. Too many other place offer that type of food and Bette but drink and desert js excellent. That mint green tea boba is so good.

Sunday night at 8pm and this place was pretty full. Credit to the Urth team though, ordering was pretty smooth (with additional team members manning extra checkouts when the line got long) and we were able to find seating for 2 out on the patio pretty easily.

Inside theres long table/bench seating, while outside on the patio there are tables and chairs for 2,3,4 and heat lamps. Further outside theres seating on the street so it pays to look around to find something.

2 lattes, a turkey sandwich and a tiramisu came to around $27 which struck me as pretty steep, but the sandwich was a healthy size and came with a small, green salad.

Parking: theres a parking lot next door. $1.50/hr parking

It pains me to give Urth Caffe 2 stars because I pretty much like all their food and drinks. However, this Pasadena location's seating and ordering system doesn't run very smoothly to the point where I can't help but deduct some stars.

Urth Caffe in Pasadena has valet parking but there's also a public lot right next to it if you want to save money. You may also be able to find street parking on Green if you're willing to walk a block or two.

Once you walk up, you stand in the order line that eventually splits into two. The employees taking orders are always so impatient the few times I have been. If you ask them a question about a dish they get annoyed. After you go up to the counter to pay, you go out to talk to someone who will find a seat for you. There is no specific spot to find this person and there are always at least a few people waiting to talk to them so you barely ever get your name put on in order of who arrive first.

The food takes a long time to come out. On a busy Sunday, we waited over 45 minutes for our food. They did warn us ahead of time of the wait so we were not upset. The disappointing part though was that our drinks didn't arrive until over an hour after we ordered. We already finished most of our food before the drinks came and that's after we asked 3 different people a few times for it. The manager ended up coming and was apologetic. He even offered us a free dessert but we were still fairly irritated. I went back a few other times after and it's pretty much the same experience except the wait for food and drinks seem to be a little better.

I would recommend their salads at Urth. I had some breakfast dishes and didn't find them to be impressive. I also love their desserts, especially cheesecakes. They have pumpkin cheesecake right now during the fall and it's really delicious. Their drinks are great. I am a huge fan of their green tea latte.

So glad there's an Urth closer to the San Gabriel Valley! This location is quite nice, located on a corner with outside patio seats (under heated lamps) and indoor seating as well. The building seems to be very historical, with the bricks and whatnot - really gives a nice ambiance to this place along with the dim lighting inside. They have everything the other Urth Caffes have - cakes, pastries, coffee, latte, food - and the prices are pretty standard.

I came here twice within two weeks. On the first visit, my roommates and I had just finished eating at Tender Greens, and we all walked in with a cup of lemonade in our hands. Apparently Urth has a policy where you are not allowed to bring in food from other restaurants, and offered to take ours to toss out and give us on the house Urth lemonades instead. We declined, opting to order to-go.

I was able to try their a slice of their berries & cream cake and the blueberry cheesecake as well. Both were really amazing and decadent, but I preferred the berries and cream, only because it tasted a lot lighter than the cheesecake. With the whipped cream and the milk cake, the berries and cream didn't taste heavy at all, while the cheesecake was so rich that after a couple of bites, I had to stop. The price is decent. Around $14 for both desserts.

I came back another night to have a drink and sit outside on the patio. The chairs aren't too comfortable, and unless you sit directly under a heated lamp, it can get incredibly cold. My boyfriend and I each ordered a drink, which took really long for them to make. We waited about 15 to 20 minutes for the drinks. I was disappointed that the latte art we got were not recognizable. I think one was a bird and the other an eyeball skeleton? It's not about the art, but the taste, I know - but the art adds something extra! The honey vanilla latte was pretty good; not too sweet, but not too bitter. I think I liked this drink better than my boyfriend's English Tea latte. I believe he ordered the Japanese tea first, but they were all out of matcha green tea, so he opted for the English tea, which wasn't bad, but at the same time, I prefer milk tea at boba places to this English tea.

Service was pretty friendly the both times I went. The girls who took our order were extremely nice and joked around with my roommates as we decided which desserts to order. I did think it was odd that as we stood there deciding what to order, the girl standing by the door kept trying to move us along into the line. We didn't move at first because we weren't sure what we wanted, but she seemed insistent that we move all the way in ... even when there weren't any customers behind us. Both times, too! Odd - nice place to get a cup of coffee or splurge on dessert. Their food choices seem just a bit too expensive for me (most run from $10 up), but I definitely will be back for their coffee and their desserts!

I love the art decor they have at this caffe. they have good parking after 6pm on the streets around the area but 1 hour parking before 6. Coffee here is great and they have a fast staff that makes it super fast. There's are stairs outside that adds to the decor that looks pretty cool but only guests have access to it. Located right in downtown pasadena and on a corner, this convenient location is better than downtown but pay attention to parking. great dessert and good pizza and sandwiches. Order here and sit and relax on the outdoor patio.

Delicious lattes and desserts here with a emphasis on fair trade, sustainable, and organic ingredients. Urth is a great place for a meetup, weekend brunch or studying. There is limited seating inside, but plenty of patio tables. No outlets in sight for the laptop users.

Favorites include:
- Cheesecakes (any flavor)
- Spanish latte
- Japanese green tea latte

Parking is available in the back lot for free during off-peak times, then turns into valet during peak hours. There is also a paid parking lot and unmetered and metered street parking.

We went for Sunday brunch, and this place was packed. We had their omelets and Spanish latte, which I strongly recommend. I'll go back some time to try more of their goodies.
