Really cool temple made out of cave. Monkeys were everywhere inside and out. Get some banana and corn to feed them!

Wat Suwan Khuha is a wondrous place. This temple has everything you could possibly want - a deep sense of reverence and spirituality, a giant golden laying Buddha and an awe-inspiring cave setting. It is spectacular in every way! Oh and, this temple is also known as Monkey Temple because hundreds of monkeys roam the grounds. Buy some mini bananas in the parking lot before climbing the stairs, feeding the monkeys and finding your zen in the cave.

Loved this wat! You're taken to a cave that you get to hike through. It was incredibly pretty inside with all the stalagmites, although you do have to watch your head! As you trek through you finally reach a really unique wat. Absolutely loved this part of Phuket.

Best temple I've been too! This is an ancient temple built into the mountainside frequented by naughty thieving monkeys! AKA Monkey Temple. The buddha relics are astonishing and an air of respect graces the place with offerings being left around the statues. The temple leads you through to a giant cave aglow with stalactites and stalagmites which you can freely climb to look out over the temple below. I loved it. The whole place was huge and totally at one with nature. The was more my idea of Thailand.
