asked if we could see a dessert menu after our meal our waiter went off to the kitchen and came back saying we had to be very quick. I understand why they would not let any new customers in, but they should not rush customers who want the full three courses. This aside, the tapas are absolutely delicious.

This is A fantastic restaurant. The food is outstanding, on par with some of the best in the world when considering value for money (everything is cheap). What makes this place special though is their focus on helping local communities, by donating significant portions of their proceeds to training the locals to help educate and get them to start businesses. They also train locals in kitchens as waiters and more. Very charitable and great organization/ restaurant. Food of course is amazing too, be sure to try the Tarantulas, a local Khmer delicacy ;)

We kept going back here again and again. The Burmese curry is so delicious, as is the green mango juice shake. I tended to have the same meal and drink combination every time because they’re so good, and unique. Friends is an ethical social enterprise that trains and employs disadvantaged young people; there’s also a shop next door where you can buy ethically-sourced souvenirs.

Gorge yourself on wonderful food while helping needy kids. The restaurant's profits go towards helping young people on the streets. The name says it all.

Cambodia is great in terms of setting up schemes and programmes for those that are less fortunate, and this popular restaurant is another one of those success stories. They train up local kids from the street and employ them in their restaurant, which as it happens also sells delicious food. A great place to come and support an excellent cause.

A Tapas restaurant formed to support local youth in the Hospitality industry with secure jobs. You can watch the Teachers and Students work around the restaurant serving and cooking. The place is surrounded by outdoor settings in an enclosed garden and you can see the centre next door for the younger students.

The menu has so many options including a wide variety of vegetarian tapas and amazing desserts!
Service can be a bit slow when busy.

It is hard not to like this place and no surprise that it is one of the most recommended restaurants in the city. The Cambodian food is simple, but tasty and extremely affordable. They also serve some great cocktails as well. The service is a little spotty, but it is understandable because the staff is really young. The restaurant serves as a non profit and all the proceeds go back to getting children off the streets and into jobs.
