Been wanting to check this place out and finally did. Go for a stroll, have breakfast or lunch, and browse the gift shop. It's a great way to spend a couple of hours. I plan on coming back for one of the special events.

One of my favorite places in Phoenix. Setting a small urban farm where they grow a lot if what is served. Great salads and sandwiches. Old fashion Turkey sandwich with cranberry relish my favorite. Fresh roasted every day just like day after thanksgiving. Great deserts may be best pecan pie I ever ate. Sit under pecan trees in an outdoor setting which us very relaxing

Best breakfast and lunch place. It is a real working farm with produce on the property, and cute shops on the property. Also a good dinner restaurant is on the property. Only 5 minutes from the house.

Stroll through the pecan and citrus trees, watch the crops be tended, or bread being baked in a huge stone fireplace, or go enjoy a picnic at one of their many tables scattered about. Although we ate at the Morning Glory restaurant, there were many people, including one party group of about 12, that were picnicking. Kids, dogs and frisbees were all in play. The Kitchen has picnic items ready to go. Great family spot.

The Farm at South Mountain is a hidden gem between South Phoenix and downtown. Once you set foot on the property you are instantly transported to a place that feels nothing like the Arizona desert. The Farm is a fantastic brunch spot that is also dog friendly, or pack a picnic and grab a grassy spot anywhere on the farm's acres of land. For a fine dining option on a fall evening, book a table at Quiessence, a romantic indoor/outdoor restaurant on the property that boasts some of the best cuisine in town. Grab a glass of wine and warm up by the fire pit before you leave for the perfect end to a candlelit dinner.

This place is really different and in an unexpected location. Its a pretty big piece of farmland that you can walk around and explore. There's a small restaurant, outdoor seating and even a venue for weddings. You probably want to avoid coming here in the summer since everything to see is outside.

Come for breakfast and bottomless coffee and iced tea. Excellent eggs and benedict. A rare earthy, lush, organic gem in the middle of the desert.
