This place is amazing! Best pizza ever! I got a white salmon caper pizza that was to die for!!!! Love this place!

Favorite of locals, just on the water on Commercial Street in Portland, although more recently discovered by cruise ship crowds. Great menu of wood fired pizzas, casual setting, and local beers on draught. Perfect for families!

One of my favorite places to eat in the old port, I love the outdoor deck for the summertime. The food is amazing and the ingredients are always top notch!

This place is good, but mainly for a quick bite, or to support a fundraiser. Doesn't necessarily make you want to come back and see them again, but it's still a good concept.

Flatbread is right on the water next to the Casco Bay Ferry station in Portland. Tuesday night the sponsor local nonprofits. Many nights of the week they have live entertainment. The flatbread is A-Mazing!

Flatbread Company is a great place to enjoy the weather while sipping on a local craft beer. Their artistry in organic ingredients create tasty pizzas. The atmosphere is quaint, and reflects the culture. They also have a love for animals, so dogs are welcome in their outside area.

This is a must visit restaurant if you are in Portland, located across from the ferry docks on the waterfront. The pizzas are delicious and the salads are super fresh and feature all locally grown, organic ingredients (in summer, be sure to have a salad with wild Maine blueberries). Great family place with table activities for kids. Check their website for live music. We heard a bluegrass band play which was fantastic.

If you find yourself visiting Portland, you must make a trip to "Flatbreads". They make organic, brick-oven pizza, and it's out of this world. The whole place seems to have been decorated by hippies, and is run by young hippies, giving it a unique atmosphere in addition to great food. Plus, it's located right on the docks on the water, and they have plenty of outdoor seating in the summer.

In recent years they've branched out, opening other locations in Portsmouth NH and around Boston, but I believe the Portland is the original.

Great atmosphere, nice to sit outside by the water. All local food!
