The food trucks are one of my favorites, especially taco ones. So far the last 2 I've been to, have been deliciously tasty!!! Good price for the mouth watering taste. Will be going again!

Wide variety of cheap food. Lack of immediate seating in the immediate area.

These food carts are everywhere around Portland. They have a good variety of foods, great prices and love they put into cooking is amazing.

These food trucks are everywhere and I definitely recommend stopping. I had an enormous breakfast burrito and OMG it was so good. I also ate chicken shwarrma!!!

Food carts in Portland are amazing! So much to choose from & delicious food. Most carts take cards (a few are cash only) and there's a wide variety of selections.

Food carts were awesome! Tried at least 2 of them, quick lunch but it was good. I think the Food Truck idea started from here!

Personal preference not to pay more more for smaller portions served on paper plates and ill fitting non-recyclable flatware, self serve in hot or cold, windy, wet weather. Even in bad weather the poorly heated tent walls fill and loudly flap with wind. Portable heaters really only provide heat within two feet of itself. Cold everywhere else.

Ordering at a small window often, with no plans center to comfortably put purse or sign card readers. Frequently, condiments are also provided on a ledge barely large enough to place your plate while always holding it down/steady with one hand while juggling condiments single-handedly with the other.

To balance the budget after Andina, I usually hit the food trucks another day that gather in certain areas throughout the city. Always a wide selection of often ethnic delicious grub!

Best place to eat donuts but the experience at night is the best. With long lines and the locals playing music for tips great and hipsters dream.

Never underestimate the Pdx food carts!! You can grab some great, authentic food at a very low price. There are tons of food carts all around Portland, but some major food cart clusters down town, by PSU, and on the other side of the river. Totally worth a try:)

It's hard to give PDX food carts a 5, especially since the ATX has it down. But it didn't disappoint me at all, I wish I could offer a 4.5. I've sampled a couple of dish out here. It was delicious, it just I can't remember the names... But don't be afraid almost any can win your belly over.

So many options! And you can't go wrong with any of them. I'll have to return again to keep trying each cart. It'll take me months.

The food carts of Portland is an essential component of the making of this great city. They sometimes appear in lines, sometimes in clusters, all serving phenomenal food and diverse ethnic foodz - almost like a miniature model of the city that they resides.
I walked by these food carts quite a few times - there are just so many food choices! - before settling with a Banh mi (Lemongrass beef) at Pho Le. Plumped up with plenty of fresh veggies and juicy, flavorful, marble beef, this is by far the best Banh mi I've had anywhere. Not to mention, they even serve Pho from the carts. Will definitely be sure to grab more food cart food in passing next time!

The Portland food carts are as iconic as Voodoo donuts and the only place on hear that keeps them cooking when they are parked off 82nd Ave in East Portland.
