The name says it all! Stop in here for some great crawfish and southern style cuisine.

We always take our out if town guests here for a taste of Pdx. Totally old school. Spendy but well worth the cost. Nothing super trendy but consistently delicious.

It's all about the Happy Hour! This is not Portland's finest- just an institution owned by a national company. Expect edibility, not transcendence. If you can hover your way into a bar spot, happy hour is more than worth it- and I'll forever be indebted to them for sending me home with a few dozen oyster shells for a science project! Total sweethearts.

I ate here years ago, but since it's been around over 100 years, still going strong, and I still remember how good the lunch I had there was...I feel pretty confident in recommending it. The seafood was fresh out of the sea and delicious. The chowder was delicious and they have a great selection of local wines. Also, at least by NYC standards it was fairly inexpensive...yet still one of the best seafood meals I've had...

Really loved the old school ambiance of this place, from its bar to its booths. Didn't end up getting the namesake of the place - crawfish- but we got plenty of other seafood to make up for it. Started with some oysters, that the waiter recommended, very delicious. We shared the clam chowder- a must get- so flavorful and bacon infused, and the fish and chips were nice although I prefer the beer battered kind instead of the breadcrumb kind, but fish itself was good. Overall really enjoyed the lunch here and would definitely come back.

A Portland Institution. For the best seafood. Expensive, but worth it. Indulge yourself - you'll love it.

I came here in January hoping that I would be able to try their famous crawfish, but I was hugely disappointed to learn that their crawfish season wasn't the same as Cali's.

Instead of eating in the dining room since they didn't have what we came for, we decided to sit at the bar for Happy Hour. Their HH menu was decent and had a good variety. We ordered the gumbo, mussels in wine, and the fish tacos. All in all, it wasn't bad. I think I was still bummed that we didn't get what we came for, but that's definitely not the restaurants fault.

Jake's offers good happy hour selections of food and drinks at affordable prices. However, I have to say in trying their famous crawfish, I was less than impressed. It was fresh, but it tasted rather bland.
