Fire pits for your leisure in the back, very spacious back seating space, fun seating inside, dining seating, and venue is downstairs. Wrap up your night by staying at the hotel here if you had too many specialty cocktails. This place has great music, great vibes, decor is sleek and moody, it's fun to get lost here and enjoy good music.

An incredible luxury restaurant, hardly a grill, this is one of your highest end restaurants in Portland, very accommodating to groups but for good measure most expensive meal I've ever purchased, $3,500 for a group of 13. Shockingly nice for that one retirement dinner for a long time leader.

Great view over the city.
The food is nothing special.
It might be worth though coming during the happy hour and have a few drinks.

Portland City Grill is a nice place to visit if you're in Portland. It has an amazing 360-degree view of the city. Happy hour starts at 4:30 on the weekend and they have 1/2 price appetizers and drinks in the bar. It gets pretty packed on the weekends so plan on getting there right at 4:30 to get a table.

The food is excellent and the atmosphere is good. Although it is very, very dark in the restaurant so you can enjoy the awesome view.

The menu is always changing, and with the incredible view of Portland it makes the price worth it.

A great place for happy hour--at the top of what locals call "Big Pink", overlooking the river in both directions. Get there early for a good seat. Happy hour is from 3-5.

Came here during HH and for dessert.

The restaurant is located on the 30th floor of a dt building which gives it an awesome view of the city, if you're lucky enough to get a window seat. We came here about 20 min before HH started and it was already packed.

Service is efficient and friendly.

They require a drink order if you plan on ordering HH food items.

We had the ahi poke which was fresh and tasty.

The real reason we came? The cookie dessert. Six fresh baked cookies, a rich chocolate and white chocolate macadamia nut, served with a scoop of vanilla and a scoop of chocolate ice cream. Yum. Sugar overload, in a good way. Between 4 ppl, we weren't able to finish the dessert. But....I can make better white chocolate macadamia cookies.

As many others have said, Happy Hour here is a must do, especially on a clear day. The view of the city is fantastic, and the piano man plays fun instrumental versions of top 40 radio and anything you can think of to request! Very fun!

The reason to go here is the view. Great happy hour. Drinks were so-so. Piano bar. Piano player did a medley of Steve Miller and Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah." Really great view. Ok to take kids (particularly over the age of 8).

My Company hosted a dinner here the other night. We had our own "Room with a View", complete with very good service and lots of food and drink. This huge place is quite the operation and the place was packed with happy folks taking in the aerial Portland sights.

However, the food doesn't quite match the ambiance. Call me spoiled, but after a week of fine dining down below, I was expecting a little more. Yet, this opportunity to have a nice meal and enjoy great view can't really be compared to anything else. I left feeling full, happy, well taken care of, and thinking that I would come back for some family or friend related special occasion.

Located downtown on the 35th floor of the U.S. Bank Tower with beautiful views or Portland and the surrounding area. Best Happy Hour in Portland. Live music (pianist) nightly. Wonderful ambiance.

GREAT HAPY HOUR AND VIEW OF THE CITY! Located high up in one of the largest buildings right in the middle of Portland. Yummy food and the greatest views of the city including out at the bridges over the river. Their prices are a bit high so you might want to try checking out their happy hour 4-6 and then again 9 or 10 to close.

Portland City Grill has one of the best happy hour options in Portland. From the hours of 4-6 p.m. and 10 p.m. - 12 p.m., PCG offers a great selection of Asian fusion inspired food and great drinks. If you go from 10-12, you'll get a great view of Portland at night. Try and get a booth seat, so you'll get a better view.
