Pírrico mansion is absolutely beautiful, whether you go to admire the mansion itself with its classical decor or the view of Portland from the mountainside, you should not be disappointed.

This french renaissance style home is another Portland gem that all tourist should take a visit. The mansion is free to explore from the outside which overlooks the city skyline. However, if you want to take a look inside the mansion, check out online for admission prices. Simply gorgeous!

One of my favorite places to visit--self guided tours, beautiful home overlooking all of Portland. Pair it with Japanese Gardens and Rose Gardens and make a day of it.

I love these old homes so for me it was nice to see the Mansion but I think the best part of coming up here is the view of the city and the view of Mt Hood. There's lots of graden area too where you can walk around and enjoy the flowers,

Beautiful building with gorgeous views of Portland to check out. You can drive up or hike on the Wildwood Trail to visit the mansion. I've read that it's haunted... It costs $9.50 for adults to get in and they decorate the place during the holidays.

I didn't get to tour the interior of the mansion as I arrived past open hours, however, I enjoyed the view of Portland from the surrounding public park. The grassy areas seemed like a good picnic spot, too. Visiting the park should be on a "what to do for free in Portland" list. Free, ample parking, plus it was free to roam the grounds outside the mansion.

Beautiful old home built by a pioneer businessman in Portland. The views are outstanding. On a really clear day you can see Mt. Hood, Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Adams, and if really lucky, Mt. Ranier.

Good pitstop on the way to the rose garden and Japanese gardens. A lot of Oregonians pride themselves in coming and learning about Pittock because he did so much for Oregon. You can skip going in the mansion and go to the souvenir store to look at pictures of the inside. What is really nice is you can go to the backyard of this mansion and theres a view of Portland worth checking out!

This historical Mansion in Portland is fun to take a walk through and see how inventive some of the things in the house were well before their time.

Henry Pittock was not the founder of the Oregonian newspaper. Get your facts right!
