It was great to meet new people. The hostel has a great environment and people are so friendly!!!
I stayed at this hostel for a few nights and cannot recommend it enough. our room was so comfortable and we loved spending every evening in the cozy basement lounge with lovely low lighting, eclectic furniture and pillows, and freshly baked thick chocolate chip cookies. some staff were friendlier than others, but everyone was courteous and professional. the location was great, very easy to hop on a tram to the town center and within walking distance of some nice restaurants.
I stayed at Sir Toby's longer than the average hosteler, and during the course of my time, I always felt welcome. A wide range of room sizes, no curfew, under the bed lockers, and clean bed linens. Wonderful food and bar in the basement. And beautiful patio.
Located in the heart of the underground club district, Sir Toby’s is one of the coziest hostels I have ever experienced. The international staff is friendly and incredibly accommodating, while the atmosphere of the hostel is just enchanting. Simply put: Sir Toby’s feels like your home away from home. The lobby is littered with literature, plants, comfortable couch seating and modern computers for you to use. Wi-fi runs throughout the building as well. The pub is very loungy and offers plenty of quaint corners, while there is also a beautiful garden to relax in. For just 120CZK you can indulge in an all-you-can-eat buffet. You can take part in a variety of activities such as game nights and beer tasting. The rooms are well decorated, clean and comfortable. Though it may not be the most centrally located hostel, Prague’s transport system makes it easy to reach the centre within minutes.
My very first hostel experience and still my very favorite one. Sir Toby's has clean and bright rooms. The shared bathrooms are cleaner than you can expect. They're like shared bathrooms. The downstairs breakfast area is nice like a cool cellar. Staff was extremely helpful showing me the local sights. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and they have good activities every now and then. The neighborhood is also a bit away from the hub of downtown Prague, but it's in a really cool area with lots of restaurants, pubs, and cafes.
One of the best hostels that I've every stayed at. The rooms are bright, and very clean. Every bed has a huge pad-locked trunk underneath it, so you can securely store all of your stuff. The staff were really helpful and there is a really social atmosphere. The only drawback is the location. It is a little outside the city centre, but its easily reachable by tram.
Sir Toby's a one of the best hostels I've stayed in Europe. There were 4 of us travelling to Prague back in November of 2005 and found out about this place and booked it. It was comfortable and the common area downstairs was like an atmosphere of an english castle. Its located in a quiet part of town and its only about 5 mins tram ride to the Charles Bridge and 10 mins to Prague Castle.Amongst other things, they offer: Internet, FREE wifi, laundry service, and extensive information about Prague.
