Nice place to go to mix it up. Probably not my first place to go, but if you have an extra day looking for something to do, it fits the bill.

they have a lovely restaurant and a great viewing site to see them hand blow all their glass products...then you get to see and appreciate why it's all so expensive. Great place to bring kids to watch them in action but also not great because everything is breakable!

Amazing food, watch glass blowing, shop and on warm days bring your bathing suit and jump off the bridge right into the waterfall!

Everything about Simon Pearce is quality. It's a great experience. Plan enough time to enjoy lunch or dinner. Come early so that you can watch the glass being blown, then shop the wide range of glass, pottery and wood treasures for sale.

Fine examples of artisans. Unique fare at high price points, but often a bargain hidden among these treasures.

The food is good, the location is spectacular. The building sits at the edge of the Ottaquechee River, just above the falls.

A lunch or dinner that will be hard to forget ... ask for a table overlooking the falls and leave time to browse in the shop and bring home a memory.

Great place to shop for handblown glass and even watch the glass blowers in person. Also, an unbelievable restaurant with amazing views of the Quechee Covered Bridge, waterfall, and possibly a few hot air balloons. Expensive, but worth it. For a cheaper alternative, try eating there at lunch!

The home of the upscale glassmaker also has a very posh restaurant. Power comes from the waterwheel in the creek. Kids love the glassblowing demos downstairs. I-89 VT Exit 1.

I haven't been here since before the Hurricane but presume it as good as it was then.

Glassmaker Simon Pearce’s restaurant, housed in a restored mill overlooking the falls of Vermont’s Ottauquechee River and its covered bridge, is a food destination worth its out-of-the-way address. The exposed-brick and blond wood terrace dining room—hanging over the falls—is open and airy in the summer and fully glass-encased during winter. Ask for “table #5,” an intimate two-seat table set directly over the rushing river.

Beautiful glassware made on site by talented artisans. Watch them make it (we saw them make hurricane lamps and ornaments), eat in the attached restaurant, or pick up some awesome (albeit pricey) glassware. Amazing to see how this place survived the floods from Hurricane Irene!
