Great place! Good for families and the cafe food and delicious. Learned a lot about the history of film, cameras, the starting of Kodak, and George Eastman himself!

I've lived in Rochester most of my life and will always enjoy a trip to the Eastman museum. Exhibits are always changing and there is something with seeing at the Dryden Theater. History and entertainment in one stop.

Magnificent old home of George Eastman, Father of Kodak. Fascinating museum of photography that is world-famous. Set on a lovely old street in Rochester with gorgeous homes of a by-gone era. Movies shown frequently from their files so get a schedule. Easy drive from G'gua but takes a while. I've forgotten what the admission costs, but it's worth it.

I didn't take the tour - II just strolled the outside gardens which are really pretty in the summer. The whole street of mansions is a beautiful walk.

George Eastman House tells about the person who founded Eastman Kodak Company. It is a great house to visit and learn about photography. Disability access and Disability Parking is available. You will need to let one of the staff know that you need access to the elevator. You will need about 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours to visit.

If you are a photo enthusiast then you must visit this museum - The International House of Photography and Film. This is the house that George Eastman lived in and has been restored to it's original condition. They also added the museum and a theater. The exhibits are varied and cover the beginnings of photography up to the present.
