Pretty village and Mediterranean garden above. Worth a visit but leave your car in the village and walk to the garden t save damaging your vehicle in the very narrow windy village.

Nestling against the craggy 'Caroux' hills in the Regional Park of the Upper Languedoc Roquebrun is a very attractive village settled on the banks of the Orb river. Due to it's riverside 'plage' it is very popular for a family day out. Equally popular is the large canoeing base at Roquebrun - they'll kit you out with all you need and then bus you to where your canoe awaits you. There's quite a choice of restaurants to choose from, and if it's wine you're in to it's definitely worth a visit to the local cave co-operative as the Roquebrun wine is to be recommended. Perched high at the village is the Mediterranean Garden, also worth the climb.

Roquebrun for river rafting, the Mimosa Festival (second Sunday of February) or a nice walk through the well preserved village. Spend a hot summer day river side in the cool waters of the Orb or hike to the top of the village where they have a Mediterranean garden open to the public but paid entry.
