Great fun if you want to feel like a hamster rolling down the hill in a giant ball. There are several different companies that do this, and this one puts water insider of the ball and they have a hot tub that you can take a dip in afterward. Might as well try all of the fun activities in and around Rotorua.

Good idea. This was the first company but Ogo now exists and has longer tracks and is far better staffed with better customer service. Choose ogo.

We hadn't planned on doing a wet Zorb, but apparently the dry Zorb with the harness had more of a propensity for making some more souls get motion sick, so Zorb Rotorua just does the wet Zorbing now. (I'm an adrenaline junky, but puking does not sound fun to me, so in the wet ball-o-fun I went.) They have shorts and shirts you can wear in the wet Zorb. (Winter had just ended when we went, so I just wore their shorts and shirt over my swim suit.) They put warm water in the Zorb in the winter and the hot tub helps warm you up after the sprint from the Zorb to the office. There aren't any showers, so you may smell a bit chloriney afterwards. It was a fun ride (we did the zig zag) and doesn't take much time to get up and down the hill. I enjoyed my ride and didn't feel at all queasy. If you want to go Zorbing, you can save some $ by booking your Zorb rides at Agroventures before you head over to Zorb Rotorua.

New Zealand is the land of adventure sports, and zorbing is another crazy Kiwi adventure! Zorb Rotorua is the original zorbing location. It's a very quick roll down the hill, but a great story to tell later.

You must try this if you are in the area. I did it with one friend and water inside a ball. It happens so fast and I couldn't really see anything, but it was fun experience. We are slipping and sliding everywhere. I was afraid that we would bump into each other and hurt ourselves on the roll down but we are fine cuz it was so slippery! Getting out of the ball after all that rolling around was like being given birth to for the second time.

Jump in a ball with two close friends. They'll slosh in some water. Then push you down a big hill. It's thrilling, but doesn't last long.

One of my best vacation adventures. Basically you jump into a ball and roll down a hill. They have two options to do it dry and your strapped in or you can do it wet and roll around like your in a washing machine.

Had a amazing time wish it was longer. A definite must do if your in rotorua!!

If you loved playing on a "slip and slide" as a kid, you were born to Zorb. Despite being chubbier than I'd like in my bathing suit, zorbing is fantastic. They add water and you dive in through the little hole in the Zorb, then they push you down the hill and you slip and slide as you roll all the way down. Although I occasionally get motion sick, Zorbing didn't make me dizzy at all. After you roll down, all you can think is "Let's do it again." More things in life should be like zorbing.

Globe riding. Basically, you sit (or are strapped into) the center of a beach ball and rolled down a hill. You can do this dry (strapped safely) or wet (no strapping, and they throw water in so you're in a rolling slip-n-slide). Incredibly bizarre, and lots of fun.
