Antonio. The burgers quickly became the favorite menu item and soon the tacos were deleted from the menu and name. Today, Chris Madrid's has turned into a unique dining experience. It is a quaint, friendly restaurant offering personal attention, a quality product, and a genuine concern for customer satisfaction. Tex-Mex decor adorns the old gas station and cantina. The cantina is a full service bar featuring iced down longnecks and frozen margaritas.Chris Madrid's is a fun family atmosphere where all of San Antonio comes together-from judges to working stiffs and politicos to college students. Customer feed back is encouraged and depended on.

A nice blend of Tex-Mex and American food. Here, you can find something for any appetite, and it's pretty cheap.

Didn't have a great experience with this place. Food was ok but the service was anything but. I also had an issue with the way they treated their employees mainly the security officers. Very unnecessary and overall rude. Will not continue to support this business.

One of the best burgers and fries Texas has to offer and it's ours in San Antonio!

Chris Madrid's is considered the best burger joint in San Antonio so I had to see what this was all about. It smells so good when you walk in. They have a regular size and macho size. I ordered the macho Cheesy Burger and it was very cheesy. They burger was flavorful and juicy. Loaded with good quality cheese, the meat was seasoned and cooked perfectly. It was a very good burger. The fries were ok. I should've ordered two burgers instead! I would rank this burger in the top 10 from what I've experienced and look forward to coming back. Cheers.

People are rabid about this burger place. Yes they give you lots of food and yes its nicely melted cheese. However, I just dont get the obsession - there are much better quality burgers all over texas. I suppose it is a combination of decent prices, family friend atmosphere and quantity over quality. The burgers seem to be about the size of a frisbee. I'd take In-N-Out burger any day over this place. Give it a go but I don't reco.

Update. My wife vehemently objects to my review and insists this is the best burger available in San Antonio. Since is was born and raised here I will give her credit where its due and up the stars to three. If you are crazy a "Texas sized" burger go here and incidentally they also specialize in the "San Antonio Bean Burger." I didnt have one so I can't vouch for that. Bon Big Apetito!
