EDIT 11.12.13 At the Gogobot Travel speakers event. Happy hour until 6;30, which was great. the fries are amazing. I love carne Asada fries and these rank up there. Fries with meat ... Read more
sauce! YUM! The prawns were amazing as well! Another very happy experience! I’ve been excited to try Crush for awhile now and I wasn’t disappointed. Crush will definitely be highly recommended by myself and the other ladies that came for the first time. I want to start off by saying a big thank you to the manager for donating a gift card to one of our lucky raffle winners. Gail was our lucky winner, which was truly a gift considering she went into surgery this past Monday and needed something to look forward to when she is fully recovered. Why will we be back? Hmmm…. Let me count the ways. 1. The PATIO: The unique fire pit / table would be a great spot to catch up with friends during a cool spring evening. 2. The BAR: Happy hour EVERYDAY of the week from 4:30 – 6:30 - When you get off work, GO TO CRUSH!! 3. The MENU: The dish I chose to review was the Eggplant Parmigiana, which I shared. Sharing can be an issue, but the kitchen split the plate for us and it turned out to be more than plenty for both of us. It was absolutely the best EP I have had in San Diego. The chef duo has created a “distinct menu of fresh and authentic Italian flavors.…and incorporate a wood-fired grill, house-made pastas and slow cooked sauces.” 4. The STAFF: Professional, Accommodating, Friendly, Knowledgeable. What more can you ask for? When should you try Crush? Date night, girls’ night, business meetings, special holidays (VALENTINE’S DAY is coming up!), proposals, meet the parents, celebrations, etc, etc, etc.

Great atmosphere! I went there for my 50 th. Celebration. Choices of wines kept my friends wanting more and the perfect specialty cocktail was made just for me. Our waiter was attentive and patient with our large party. The music started at about 10pm and rounded out a perfect night. Acoustic guitar, some conga percussion made for the dancing experience I usually crave. Overall an amazing way to bring in the next 50 years!

Crush a nice resturant perfect for date night. Can be a bit pricey but the location is great and within walking distance around Solana Beach

This is a fun place to dance on weekend nights. The drinks and food are a little pricey but good. Appetizers are $12-16, entrees run $20-$30.

This place is great.
The table with the fire pit is kewl. Would be an awesome place to impress someone.

We were warmly greeted upon entering.
It wasn't very crowded.

We tried the mussels. Great choice. Use the bread to soak up all the sauce.
And then lick your fingers. Yummy. Never saw a place put cheese on top.
Happy hour price. 50 off. Yeah. only $8.
They have a great deal on early dinner. Side plus entree. Entree is normally $20. So basically getting a free entree.
We tried Mama's balls. It was not the best but not the worst. I ended up eating all of the balls.

The main entree of chicken piccata was enough for two people. It was on top of a bed of spinach and mashed potatoes.
All this during happy hour/early dinner for less than 40 for two.
Oh did I mention, this includes one HH drink.
