We were craving breakfast and this place came up on the map. We are so happy chose this place. Food was amazing and the service was great. We got the chicken and smoked bacon waffle tower and it was delicious. Will definitely make this a regular place when we are in San Diego.

This place seem to be a popular one . It was pretty busy when we went , food and service was good . They give huge portions , a bit too much if you're a light eater .

Grand proportions and tasty, unique combos. What more can you ask for? Indoor and outdoor seating in a small space so long wait.

This is a San Diego classic. Lines are long on the weekends so make a reservation. Huge portions, artistically served, and TASTY!

Because we had an early appointment in San Diego, we decided to stop at Hash House A Go Go for breakfast. Hash House is open at 7:30 am on weekdays so we were the first in. I've never been to the Las Vegas location but at least I've been to this one in San Diego. After sitting down, I ordered a cappuccino and Andy P. had a regular coffee. We decided to split Andy's Sage Fried Chicken and Waffle tower ($19.95), eggs sunny side up, and a side of sausage. Our drinks came out first. My cappuccino was the perfect size and there was fresh cinnamon grated around the cup on the plate. I definitely added some of that to my drink. It was a delectable drink with the perfect amount of milk to offset the espresso.

The food came out shortly afterwards and we were greeted with a towering plate of bacon waffles fried chicken, eggs, and sausage. It was a smorgasbord portion of food. The bacon waffles were tasty with the maple syrup. The fried chicken was moist inside and crunchy outside. The fried leeks were amazing. Do not forget to try the fried leeks! The eggs were perfectly cooked and I put that on top of my waffles for full effect. I only ate one of the waffles but it was certainly a delicious start to the morning. I can see why they have a long wait on the weekends. You have a better chance of being seated quickly on weekdays or early morning on weekends when they open. The food portions are gigantic. The service was great. Parking outside is metered.

This is a fun one-time dining experience where one meal can feed an entire family. It is worth the trip. Quite a fun experience. But the lines on the weekend can be quite long.

Monster breakfast choices. We always share meals among the people we have. If there is a long wait, go across the street to the Tractor Room (same executive chef.)

I'm a chicken and waffles virgin. Never had it and I was afraid to order it and have it be awful. So my soulful friend recommended a trip to the Hash House. Oh. My. Goodness. To give you a picture of how massive my entre was, the plate they used was the same one I would use to serve an entire turkey. The portion sizes are massive! You can easily split it between two or three...or four people. My chicken and waffles was delicious although I think in the future I'd just get the chicken as the waffles with bacon baked in them were a bit too rich for me. My friend had a fantastic stack (literally a stack) of potatoes, biscuits, spinach, tomato, crab, cheese and pesto. It was amazing as the crab was the real deal, but yeah, so huge. The prices reflect the fact that you're ordering for two but the service is good.

Been to hash house and had great food, but last time wasn't so great. It was my husbands first time going and I told him all about it and was excited for him to try it. Our food was barely warm, tasted stale and our cocktails weren't very good at all. I gave it 4 stars because I've had good food before.

Ever have one those place you love to revisit time and time again. Well the Hash House A Go Go is my go to place for big breakfast and lively scene. The food is midwest home cooking with epic portions. The French Toast and Blackberry Granola pancakes are two of my favorite dishes. However, if you are there and they have the blue crab cakes benedict on there special menu spend the money and go for it they best benedict dish ever. The place is busy for breakfast all the time they do however take reservations for Saturday only sorry they do not take reservations for Sunday. When there make sure to try the many different mismosa's and if you are into Bloody Mary's they make a really mean spicey one or try the BLT Bloody Mary served with Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato. This location is the original one they have other restaurants in other cities. But I find tthat the original place are usually the best.
