Big night out, big-time restaurant, BIG 360-degree views from up in the sky, and a big bill to go with it, but very much worth it as a special time.

I love watching the airliners on final threading between buildings here at Mr. A's.

Came here to surprise my brother with a fancy lunch. The staff were friendly and excited to help me surprise him after not seeing him for about 2 years! The place is beautiful, the view is gorgeous, and the food is amazing!

Mister A's boasts a killer view and is quite the hit on your paycheck but well worth it for a special occasion. The craft cocktails are on point along with the delicious meal. The "to die for element" is the stunning view of downtown San Diego both sunset and night skyline. Make your reservations early and request a window seat

The views from Mister A's are incredible and on the deck, it feels like you can reach out and touch the planes going by. Go there for a drink and an appetizer. Dinner is better at Juniper and Ivy.

Great views from here, a little pricey. My wife and I had first date here (1967); I didn't know better then.

This place is one of those fancy, special occasion institutions (similar, but not as good as, La Folie in SF) where you know exactly what to expect. The food is good but not spectacular. I think they get a lot of business simply because of the great view, but keep in mind that not all tables are close to the window. Was super bummed when I took my mom here and they put us in a corner, but she still had a good time.

French cuisine, simply delicious! The restaurant offers a splendid view of downtown San Diego. It is especially fun to watch airplanes landing on the terrace.

You must have a drink at Mr. A's while you're here! The view is phenomenal with commercial aircraft on final approach at eyeball level!

Best restaurant in San Diego for special occasion dining or to a sunset cocktail with a panoramic view of San Diego Harbor. A must do when in San Diego.

TL;DR: Amazing food, very attentive and knowledgeable staff, with a breathtaking view of downtown San Diego.

EXPERIENCE: The staff was extremely accommodating, friendly, and professional. When asked to take a picture for us, the server went above and beyond to take multiple photos for us (going so far as to set up our table to get the best candle lighting!). Additionally, very well informed on all the dishes, wines, and combination recommendations.

FOOD: We ordered the chateau brion steak which came with a braised leeks, boiled celery root, chanterelle mushrooms, and a pomme dauphine paired with a 2006 Chateau Roc De Candale. I'll save the flowery language and character count and just say it was beyond amazing!

VIEW: Save for troublesome wind that would blow out the flame in our heater, the view is breathtaking. I recommend coming in 30-40 minutes before the sun sets so you get a front row seat for a memorable dining experience.

Beautiful restaurant at the top of the financial building on 5th Ave. Gorgeous view of the city and sunset. Classy n thus pricey. Tasty but definitely for special occasions. Even happy hour is pricey--it's basically normal prices for a regular restaurant. Enjoy at some point.

Overlooking San Diego Bay this is one of the best restaurants in San Diego,
10 minute drive from property. Expensive but worth it. Not for young families.
