Description
Downtown San Diego is separated into nine distinctly different neighborhoods. The Seaport Village and Gaslamp Quarter districts are two of the most popular. Seaport Village is home to a huge shopping ... Read more
and dining complex. After eating and buying a few souvenirs, you can ride the 100 year old carousel or go for a ride on a horse drawn carriage. The Gaslamp Quarter may be more your speed if you want to watch a Padres game at PETCO Park or go to a street festival. Once the sun goes down, you can let your hair down at Cesar Cigar Lounge & Wine Bar or one of the many bars and clubs in the area.

Awesome glad that the airport is close by but you also get all the experiences if you just have a 5 or 6 hour layover you can still in the city.

I love downtown San Diego. Lots of great bars and craft beer tasting rooms. Always people out and about to mingle with.

Lots of fun hanging out downtown, too many options from bars, clubs, music venues, restaurants, theaters, shopping, etc. I always got over whelmed when travelling here, epsecially during big events like Padres Game and Comic Con; the only thing i hate was getting stuck im traffic heading down to whichever places I wanted to near gálamp, but it was worth it. I enjoyed it overall

Downtown San Diego is restored and spectacular, especially the gas lamp district and the harbor. You should take a tour!

One of the most beautiful "downtowns" I've ever seen - a bayside community filled with high rises, pristine parks, expensive hotels, village-style boardwalks, and of course, multicultural neighborhoods that offers fantastic eats. Instead of dirty, grimy, noisy, smelly city centers that lock in heat and smog, downtown San Diego is always fresh and cool from the onshore breeze, clean from fantastic city management, and exudes a laid-back, mellow charm from its locals and tourists alike.

Did a sunset segway tour with Another side of San Diego Tours. It was about $75 per person but it was so much fun riding on a Segway! They were good about teaching us how to use it and being safe. They were really accommodating even though we booked the tour later rather than earlier. My party loved it as it was just us and a private tour guide showing us the sights and history about this city!

Downtown San Diego has a lot to offer in terms of it's restaurant and bar scene. With a plethora of new establishments opening up, there is stiff competition for these places to provide an enjoyable experience.

There's a lot to do in Downtown whether you're into the arts, eating out, nightlife, people watching, tours, and more. I love coming to downtown for baseball games and enjoying the beautiful night atmosphere. Usually warm and no jacket needed.
