This neighborhood is definitely worth a stroll when visiting San Diego and lined with many cool restaurants, cafes, bars, shops and active both day and night. I spent some extra time here before heading to the airport as it is so close.

Currently, the absolute best spot in downtown San Diego, bar none. The best restaurants in all of San Diego, whether you're looking for Italian or not. The best bars, if you know where to look. The best locals vibe with plenty of quaint cafes, the greatest farmers market, year round. Parking is a mess so take public transit or look up parking garages ahead of time. To fit in like a local- be sure to bring your dog. Little Italy has more dog families than kids.

Adult fun shoping and dining in the hip "town within a Town" Little Italy. Weekly events and great clubbing.

you're sure to find the best Italian food here! Don't miss Extraordinary desserts. Mind blowing sweet creations and delicious paninis! One of the best Farmers Markets is here every Saturday from 8am-2pm. If you are here in October don't miss the Italian Festa!

Bring your appetite because the food here is amazing. Bring your kids to waterfront park, or checkout the Maritime Museum of San Diego or the Star of India. Either way you will have fun in this little area of Downtown San Diego.

I love San Diego's Little Italy. There's always something fun going on here - parades, markets, restaurant crawls, you name it. It's packed with trendy bars, cafes, and eateries serving world-class food, and it's just a short walk from the waterfront.

All these years I have lived around San Diego and actually made my first trip to Little Italy. We parked our car on one end and walked all the blocks up one side and down the other. Definitely get the feel of a community. Lots of restaurants, Little many stores that sell all the Italian specialties. Had lunch, a glass of wine. A great couple of hours.

A charming area, Little Italy is full of great restaurants with both traditional and modern Italian cuisine. It's delightful to walk around and has a lively farmers' market on Saturday mornings. The main thoroughfare is India Street.
