Note: A number of organizations have raised questions raised about whether the way SeaWorld captures, houses and treats its animals is ethical. Interested travelers may want to educate themselves on the debate before making a decision to visit the parks.

This place is a must go if you are in San Diego. You see all sorts of sea creatures and ride on rollercoasters! Remember to bring sunscreen as you are walking around outside a lot. Parking was for an extra fee and the rides are surprisingly awesome with some for the little kids too.

I feel like this is more for kids than adults. It is nice to take children to see the animals. Watch out for seagulls as they dive bomb you if you have food and sit in the trees and crap on passers by.

Sea world has changed since I was a kid. They have rides for all ages and many interactive ponds so you can touch and feel the fish. Shows are always great and you learn while being entertained. It is a little pricey but if the weather's good, you 'll have a blast.

Most of the animals are wonderful and the park itself is very clean and well-staffed. I'm only giving it three stars because because the home for the larger animals is obviously very small. It's depressing to realize that the whales and dolphins are so cramped for most-if not all of their lives. I strongly thing Sea World needs to think about long term habitats and how they plan to give their animals the best lives possible.

I've only been to SeaWorld once, long ago, must have been like late 1990's to see the killer whales and the dolphins.

Far better than expected! Each show was exciting and infromative. They're making a huge push toward presenting the orcas more naturally. They love and take great care of their animals and they rescue and rehabilitate hundreds more

Sea world is a great place for kids, also good place to go for a relax but fun trip. Both Whale and dolphin show are super fun to watch, you can sit in soak zone if you like to get wet, but make sure you bring some exchange clothes, cuze you will get very very very wet.

You can see the Sea World tower from the deck (and the fireworksk at night in the summer.) Very close to the house. Just opened a water park there, Aquatica.
