From the moment you walk in you will feel 'intoxicated' with chocolate, everywhere in the store they are cooking, cooling, shaping, and slicing chocolate from all over the world. This is such a beautiful chocolate factory and cafe! I came here for brunch at Bloom and really enjoyed the experience! The Bruleed Brioche was definitely my favorite, and came with chocolate for dipping! The churros were a winner as well. The Market Quiche was ordinary but was a nice savory addition to the brunch! We took a self guided tour in the chocolate factory adjacent to the cafe, which was really neat to see as well!

Small patch chocolate made here daily, when you buy their chocolate, it tells you where it's from and it's ingredients: 70%cocoa beans and30% cane sugar. Made by an employee that works there. If u have time, you can try their hot chocolate in the winter or iced chocolate in the summer. Marshmallow is complimentary. Their chefs tasting and smore block are must try!

Lots of chocolate, almost too much chocolate. I feel like I get really excited when I go in here and order a chocolate drink and a chocolate pastry and I get a little overwhelmed. Just choose one.
Love the brownie and the chocolate bars.
Whenever I go there the horchata is always sold out

Rich thick smooth local chocolate house on Valencia St. Didn't get a chance to try a variety, only their hot chocolate. I must go back!

This is some of the best chocolate I've tasted in the world. Even just the smell of this place is delightful. Try the Mission Hot Chocolate (housemade marshmallows!) if you like spice, and they offer samples of chocolate from all over the world.

Yes, Dandelion Chocolate is a chocolate store where you will want to order one of everything, but also hosts great (and delicious) events. Upcoming evening events include tea and chocolate pairings and cheese and chocolate pairings. There are also classes where students learn about and how to make chocolate. Yum!

Opened in 2012 on Valencia st in the Mission. Gourmet 75%-100% cocoa chocolates imported from Africa and Latin America. Great "frozen hot chocolate."

Drinkable chocolate! Oh my...it was so decadent and so delicious. If you need a pick me up during the day, this is a treat you should not pass up. Pricey, but worth it.

if you like the real flavour of chocolate minus the additives and sugar, dandelion chocolate is the place for you. their hot cocoa is one of the best. smores are torched to order. I do wish their mission hot chocolate was slightly thicker.

Yum such good chocolate. Almanac uses their chocolate for their biere de chocolat. Good place to get some authentic SF gifts for family and friends.

If you love chocolate, you must visit Dandelion Chocolate on Valencia. This little chocolate shop sells the best hot chocolate drinks, chocolate desserts, candy bars and more. Everything is made fresh within the store.

I tried the European Drinking Chocolate ($4.50 -- a regular American-style hot chocolate is $5.75) and it was divine. Add a few artisan marshmallows from their bar (as many as you like) and it's heaven in a cup. The only downside is the price, but it feels entirely worth it.

It's the perfect after-dinner spot for a date!

Chocolate lovers, do not miss this gem! Dandelion Chocolate is on my must-visit list for any SF visitor. The chocolate scene in SF is impressive (think Tcho, the classic Ghirardelli, poco dolce, Christopher Elbow, the list goes on…) but Dandelion Chocolate is my favorite. The space is a retail store, cafe, and commercial factory all in one, open area. You rarely get to see the inner workings of chocolatiers, so having it all open for viewing is a treat, pun intended.

Don't miss the s'mores, the PB&J, or their hot cocoa, and buy some bars to bring back home!
