This is probably my favorite cocktail bars in the city! This bar has indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating comes with fire pits and is a perfect spot for the winters.
We ordered the chicken wings, the lamb tamale, and fries! My favorite was the chicken wings! The cocktails were amazing! I couldn't make up my mind so asked the server to bring me something and he got an amazing drink! We got the Emerald.

Loved this place! definitely going back sometime soon.

Great cocktails and excellent small plates. If you're in to bourbon, go here.

Reminds of a typical lounge you'd find in New York. It has average bar food. It has a nice outdoor patio with heated lamps. Fun place for a summer day.

Only had drinks here. A group of us sat at the chef's table which was amazing. I wouldn't want to sit anywhere else in the restaurants. Drinks were good.

The restaurant was very nice inside and the food was very good. Got the best salad of my life in there -- all the small pieces tasted different. Very pricey.

Hip and pricey spot. Food here is good - had the carpaccio and halibut. Both were beautifully presented, and tasty. I think there are better options at the high end. But all in all a good spot.

Trendy and hip, Dirty Habit is one of San Francisco's hidden nightlife gems. It is tucked away on the 5th floor of the Palomar Hotel on 4th st. It has an awesome outdoor lounge that is even further tucked away behind the bar area. The definition of hidden gem, highly recommend this spot to anyone that is looking for a night out. It is upscale and leans yuppie for those curious about the crowd. My only criticism is that is closes so early 11:30 pm!

This place is definitely a hidden gem in San Francisco! The atmosphere is great- there is an indoor dining and bar area and a great outdoor area with a fire pit and seating! The drinks and food are also good. However, the service is a bit slow.

Heated patio w/ beautiful open skies and peruse the tasty menu of thoughtful concoctions. Bliss out in good company and savor the dusk w/ soft candles wrapped in enigmatic excerpts of an Agatha Christie mystery.

I love fancy dancy dining restaurant and this is the place I want to be. The ambiance is romantic and classy. I love their dimmed lights.

There was so many things on the menu that I decided to do the prefix menu. It was a 7 course meal and I loved them all. The food was splendid! I enjoyed their duck meat which was juicy and flavorful. I also liked the filet mignon too! Not to mention, goat cheesecake was the highlight of my meal. Never thought goat cheesecake would taste so good.

I will definitely come back here and recommend this place to my friends.

I found this restaurant for a girlfriend's birthday dinner and I'm glad she chose it! Go up to the fifth floor at the Palomar and there it is. Dimly lit, a bit romantic, and swanky!

Expect to pay $50+ per person. I got the Cuban Missile cocktail which was yummy and the ravioli. The portion was small since it was meant to be a second course item. They gave us an amuse-bouche (small bite as a tasting) and there's free bread that they keep coming to refill your plate! The waiters also lined up like a parade to serve our table haha.

A friend brought a cake and they refrigerated it for us. We noticed a cake service fee, but the chef added to our plates when they serve the cake! Creme fraiche ice cream, passionfruit sauce, and toffee bits!

Small menu, big wine list. The venison and swordfish make for great entrées, and if you're looking for a starter, try the hamachi. They send out an interesting assortment of amuse bouche, though I'm not sure if that's only for large groups. Their mixologist/bartender, Brian, has been featured in Men's Fitness and The Wall Street Journal, and makes some tasty concoctions. I commend the staff's patience with a boisterous, indecisive crowd that shuts down the restaurant. Surprise treats involved macarons, hazelnut tidbits, smooth brittle, and all sorts of yummy - and that's before the actual dessert menu! The lights are dim and noise level is low, but they have a side room (with doors optionally shut) for small private parties or larger, un-intimate groups.

They mix some fantastic drinks here. The lounge is pleasant and slightly upscale. The cocktail menu is fairly creative. The food? For the price, I'd expect better. Don't get me wrong: The fish was cooked to perfection and the cucumber salad was fantastic, but The steak was a bit tough and the octopus a bit chewy.

After attending a photo shoot for Fifth Floor's upcoming new website, we were all given certificates for the fabulous restaurant. So, naturally, we decided to all go together and pig out on some really exquisite shiznit.

I started with a Grapefruit Vesper martini (a nice rendition of Bond's drink of choice) and the Crudo as my first plate - fresh and flavorful cuts of sashimi. For my second plate, I ordered the Grilled Octopus. Bursting with flavors of coconut - really fantastic. Following this, I had the Muscovy Duck - thick slices of smoked duck breast in a mouth-watering duck jus. Amazing.

But what really blew my mind was the Gateau Basque I had for dessert. It's several almond custard tarts and orange cake sticks with cherry marmalade and bitter almond ice cream. To die for.

The staff was amazing. Unlike other fancy pants restaurants I've been to, the waiters here are very down-to-earth. They don't crowd your space, but rather enhance the experience with their fun personalities.

So thanks, Jennie Lorenzo, for creating dishes as delectable as they are beautiful. See you on your website (hopefully)!

Intriguing start, strong development and surprisingly weak finish. Fifth floor left me feeling I have just watched a movie that rushed to a terribly ending. I like the appetizers and entrees but the desserts were disappointing.

I took 3 bites off their 'Dessert: By Association" to make sure I wasn't dreaming. Wasn't it just 2 tiny pieces of sponge cake with some sorbet? That was just about the most unoriginal (yet pretending to be creative) dessert I had at any fancy restaurant. From the look of the dessert one would really expect the sorbet and sponge cake to be exquisite. Unfortunately they were plain ordinary. The "Gateau Basque Version 3.0" wasn't any better. I really appreciate the effort of laying out the custard cake and the semifreddo so beautifully on the plate but what happened to the taste? The Fifth Floor Sundae was actually quite good but I was too traumatized by the other 2 desserts to fully enjoy it.

Okay maybe I am being a bit overly critical. Don't let me discourage you from dining here because you would be missing out on some pretty good food. (Just do yourself a favor and skip the desserts or just stick with the sundae for now) Their roasted rabbit dish was amazing. It was done to perfection and really brought out the distinct flavor and texture of the rabbit meat. The arctic char was buttery smooth. Oh and that juicy tender roasted squab, aromatic velvety duck duck foie...

I do like this restaurant. I only wish they could stop trying too hard to be fancy and reexamine the fundamentals.
